This is probably the first place I ever tried Sushi from. And let me tell you it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. The customer service here is very friendly. It never gets to packed to the point where you’d like to leave. Both the crunchy roll and the crazy California roll is a must!

Their are two cashiers one that’s nice and sweet rarely ever see her, but when I do she’s the only reason I still buy there! Other cashier I see daily always forgets something even seems moody always. Yet food is great complements to the chefs never let me down. Always order #9 or #16 it’s the best !

SPICY TUNA! How can a hole in the wall place in a strip mall in Baldwin Park have the BEST spicy tuna ever?!
Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the spicy tuna… seriously it’s amazing.
Shrimp Udon was pretty great as well.
Elainne will more than likely take your order (I think she’s a robot… she’s always there! that girl never sleeps)

The food is so fresh and tasty here!!! I get the 3 item Sesame chicken, teriyaki salmon, and spicy tuna roll. Under 10 bucks and you get miso soup, salad, and a drink?! Seriously, what could be better? I made my friends drive all the way from Alhambra so that they could see for themselves

Just finished an awesome meal here. Everything tasted great especially the dragon roll. The staff were polite and helpful. Only critique would be the sesame chicken was for some reason a little too crunchy (kinda dry almost). Pretty quick service too.

Love this place. It’s nice to have an unknown sushi joint in Baldwin Park. It forces theI personally don’t get much of a wait, but then again, I’m mostly there when it’s not lunch hours.
It’s cheap, and best of all, fulfilling.

worst sushi restaurant ever! I grabbed one plate of pork chop bowl today, that was ridiculous! full of shitty crisp flour, not even with a piece of meet. I never leave any bad reviews on Unilocal,but this time, I have to leave this bad review, CuZ I do not want anyone like me to have so bad experience here and leave with anger. The price is ridiculous high, with this shitty pork chop which cost almost $ 10, it is not even worth to try. For all the friends on Unilocal,I highly recommend you guys stay away from this restaurant!!!

I went here yesterday for lunch and overall price is OK and food is just okay nothing special but not the worst food in the world. when it comes to service, I really think that they would improve it… the lady was eating lunch when I was there and she gave me a body expression of «why are you here»? expression… same with her face… I’m here to do business… I mean I kinda expected a little bit more service but I guess I can’t expect too much when you see the over all
picture. barely earning 3⁄5 at this point in time.

Food is great, but customer service no where near good. One time i asked for extra rice which she charged 50 cent or a dollar, i forgot. Person that asked for rice before me got it for free cause she was white. I’m guess these are the type of Asian owned company who’s trying to be white washed. Lady taking order always looks like she is a bad mood and never smiles. No matter how great the food is, the lack of satisfaction leave me with a bitter taster in my mouth with this business. I will take my money else where they don’t treat there customer in such manor.

I am from out of town and was staying at the courtyard Marriott less than a quarter mile away. Just walked over here for some sushi. Sushi is mediocre. Very plan and bland. Not fresh fish either. I know sushi very well as I eat sushi weekly and this is just average. Didn’t try anything else but if you want good sushi — don’t come here. I’m sure other stuff isn’t terrible.

My friend and I discovered this place on our usual Sushi Sunday lunch last month. They have reasonable prices and their portions are pretty good. Not the best sushi I’ve had but decent. I still stop by now & then and order take out to reduce the wait time. I recommend their salmon sashimi as it is my favorite!

I love this place! Every time I crave for quick, good, reasonable priced sushi, I go here. I always call ahead and do a pick up. It’s funny because every time I call in to order the lady there is like «I know who this is». Apparently I order so much she thinks I’m having a party but it’s just dinner for 4…
So yes! Give this place a try!

One of the best hole in the wall places! And I’ve never had miso soup this good anywhere else. Believe me I’ve been on the search. But nothing beats tokyo express!

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a lot to choose from and I’ll definitely be coming back to try the crazy rool.
I loved the Salmon sashimi. It was fresh, tasty and really good sized pieces. Even the wasabi was beautifully displayed on the plate.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
