I like the foods here but the thing i hate here is when the waitress cant understand english

Having ramen on my birthday. One of my favorites! I don’t know about other people’s experiences, but when I come here, they’re always so helpful and patient in explaining the menu and helping me make a proper selection. :)

First time coming here since I’m on a ramen hunt. And I have to say I was quite surprised! The broth has depths of flavor and there isn’t that gross coating of fat that slathers your lips like some Ramen places do yuuuck! So far this is my fave ramen shop around Rowland Heights! A gem hidden in this plaza

This place is not good at all. The both so salty. Was my first time here and sooooo disapointed. For first time like a last time.

Came in on a Tuesday and the place is empty(it could be bcuz it was past lunch time around 3:30pm). Parking was easy. Food was mediocre. Service.it wasn’t bad or great. The lady didn’t speak much English. They checked up on us once. And it took forever for them to get our checks bcuz they were hiding in the kitchen. I was a bit annoyed since we are the only customers there. They took forever with the receipt/payment. They were sweet ladies and apologetic about the receipt taking so long. Not coming back.

The service is good and waiter was really attentive to our questions. I ordered their miso chashu trio and it was pretty tasty. This is my 2nd time here and I’ll come back again to get a quick ramen if you don’t wanna wait.

What happened to this place? They’re not serving supermarket bought ramen… Yea I know, I ate those all the time. Ordered their chashu trio and boy, is the chef practicing to compete in knife skill competition or something? ‘Cause my chashu is as thin as a credit card at best. 6 pieces of chashu makes up for less than half of a McDonald hamburger patty. Oh and even that piece of narutomaki is pathetically small and thin. Come on… Oh the bright side, the chicken kaarage is still tasty. Not worth $ 11 a bowl of noodles for sure.

Went in around 8pm on a Saturday night, not much of a wait for our party of 8 which was nice. There were a couple of tables occupied and only one or two servers. Our food arrived fairly quick in my opinion, but it could have been that we were distracted by our own conversation haha I got the mini Chashu bowl which was really tasty and easy to eat. I wasn’t very hungry to begin with but I ate it all with extra ginger. I didn’t hear any complaints about the food from my friends so I’m guessing everything was good. Gratuity is automatically added for parties of 5 or more. The server was good about keeping our water glasses full which was nice. All in all, I would return, probably to try their lunch specials which offer half portion Ramen bowls.

This is one of my new favorite ramen spots. I’ll explain why I gave five stars in a moment below but the food is worth everything. So I came in with my sister after school at Mt. SAC one day and the waitress at first kind of lagged at noticing us(would give four star usually but it was made up later). We finally got sat down and this may be ignorant on our part but we didn’t know anything on the menu haha. The waitress was kind enough to explain it all and tell us the choices and what we may like. I got pork belly for the first time and LOVED it haha. This was the best miso ramen I had in a long time and as someone who loves ramen, this is a high regard. I would recommend this place to anyone and definitely will be back again. Not to mention the prices are really good here too!

Came here an hr before it was about to close. Ordered the miso ramen which had a nice flavor to it. I added fresh garlic which was part of the free topping. Garlic gave the miso flavor & taste. I also added some pepper flakes to give it a kick since I love spicy food. Ramen came quickly & it was quite hot that I had to wait for it to cool off before I could eat it. Menu needs a tad bit more variety of food is my only con. Service was excellent, probably cuz there was only 1 other table & because they were about to close. Waitress was friendly & came by several times to check up on us & to refill our water.

My Sister and I came for Dinner. We were greeted by the most gracious host Ever! Tommy made us feel comfortable & Welcomed. He & Simone not only provided us with the best ramen but also gave us such an enjoyable atmosphere to have our Dinner at. Tommy made us laugh so much, and they both made sure we were well taken care of! The food is Delicious! Everything was exquisite. We are definitely customers for LIFE! I can not wait to go back & let my family & friends know about this place! If you’re looking for a good place to eat this is where you need to go.

Lunch on Sunday, 12÷20÷15(first time visiting) This plaza is extremely busy with restaurants, boutiques, and supermarkets. There was no wait in line for our party of four. Service was friendly. We ordered all three of their popular ramen bowls. It was quite tasty. The noodles were firm and the cha shu was tender. I didn’t customize my bowl of ramen so I can taste the originality. They also serve alcohol. It’s not the best ramen I’ve had but I would be willing to have it again.

Really wanted to try this place cuz my bf’s family raved about this restaurant but their door was locked during open hours which was really confusing. Their sign said they opened at 5:00pm for dinner and I got there at 5:05 and there was a closed sign so I thought they were just running a little behind schedule. I waited for another 25 minutes and they still didn’t open their doors. I was very disappointed.

Fujin Ramen is a decent place to grab a meal if you’re in the area. But I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. I’ve tried their half order of Miso Ramen, and an order of their Curry Chicken Cutler which was good! The Miso Ramen I thought was a bit bland. The noodles was cooked perfectly however. The flavor of the broth unfortunately did not tickle my fancy. More than anything else, I thought there was too much bean sprouts. I really liked their curry though. I had the chicken cutlet with curry. The sauce we delicious with small little peppers on it. The curry wasn’t overwhelmingly too strong, but it had a good curry spicy kick. I wished they would have have more sauce for my rice though, but I really enjoyed it. The wait for the food to come was a bit long. I would say at least 20+ minutes. So of you’re in a time crunch, which I luckily wasn’t, then I would suggest another place. There was only one waitress taking orders, filling the water, and serving the food amongst doing other things too. I thought it’s a bit too overwhelming for one person to do all that work. But I could understand since it was that busy during lunch. They have a lunch special menu with ramen noodles, and rice plates. Say about $ 10.00 to $ 12.00 a head for lunch. Depending on what’s ordered. They also serve beer, too. Again, a average or a decent place for lunch. It’s located in the Hong Kong Plaza with a huge parking lot. Parking was easy to find during the week.

First time here so I was kinda nervous. But the warm pretty smiles and quick service with the awesome attention made me feel good really quick. Small local in the heart of Asian marketplace here in West Covina. I sat down and drank myself a Orion Beer while waiting for my Togo order of miso ramen. They explained everything to me. The dumplings where on point and the fried chicken perfect. I’m coming back… TOMORROW! Lol! Thanks girls.

Came in on a Saturday night, 1 hr before closing. We’ve been here before and it’s been almost two years and it was worth it! Ordered the raijin ramen with shio. Once again, it was amazing! Except not enough noodle! Was really going for a good amount. But I guess thats how good it was, wanted more! Bf Chris ordered the shiyo with pork and he loved it. Much better than the katsu curry from last time! Def a place to try out. *stay clear from the deep fried calamari.* Sauce sucks, and they give you like 7 pcs. Not worth it.

Had the Shoyu Ramen and I would have to say it was okay. Broth wasn’t too bad or bland… hits the spot but I feel as if I’ve had better too. Price wise, I felt that I was not getting my money’s worth and could’ve still eaten a little more. Service was lovely though! :)

There are times in the span of life that you taste something so good it changes your whole world. That’s wasn’t the case at Fujin Ramen. It did how ever provide me with an extraordinary meal. I had the trio ramen, It was deeply satisfying. The ambience is relaxing and the waitress very attentive. Fujin Ramen, you will see me again.

(3.5 stars) Solid, traditional ramen spot. Came by for a late lunch with my dad. I ordered the chashu trio ramen. Their shio broth is pretty delicious. I just wished they included more pork. Overall, it was a decent bowl of ramen. It’s perfect to fill that quick fix when you don’t want to go to a generic ramen spot like Ajisen.

I thoroughly enjoyed the shio broth here. It’s definitely lighter in flavor than tonkotsu(especially Daikokuya’s) but surprisingly, I liked it just as much! You’re allowed to choose between wavy or thin noodles(wavy all the way) and then 2 toppings(I chose bamboo and wood ear mushrooms). The ramen also comes with some chashu and half a soft boiled egg, which was perfectly cooked with a creamy, gel-like yoke. My only gripe is the portion sizes and price. I ordered the Fujin shio ramen, which wasn’t cheap. In fact, it was almost the same price as the«popular» ramen shops in LA, but the portion sizes were considerably smaller. Overall, the quality of the ramen was great. Each aspect of their ramen was made as good or better than those famous ramen shops, but just smaller portions. I would have liked for them to throw in some bean sprouts and green onions though.
