Dunkin’ Donuts

I love Dunkin Donuts coffee, and this one was friendly, easy to order and quick! They make sure that you’re satisfied before you leave as well. Nothing could be better than this place. It was also easy to get through the drive through with a big truck which was a life saver!

Okay so here is a little known tid bit about this Duncan Donuts Store. If you are an early morning coffee person and have a few minutes to sit after going through the drive in as you pull out of the parking lot turn right and go into the parking lot for the building next door. Drive down to the bottom of the parking lot facing the river if you are lucky many mornings you will be treated to the sight of one or both of the Bald Eagles that perch on the dead trees in the middle of the river watching for their breakfast to swim by. It is worth spending the extra money on DD’s coffee when you include this amazing view.

What the heck has happened to Dunkin Donuts? When they first came back in a growth mode they were awesome — incredible value and consistent no matter where you went. When I was recently staying in Baldwinsville I looked forward to getting a latte and cruller on my way to work but that excitement didn’t last long.
I just did drive-​thru because I was late… again… and placed my order, but I was told they didn’t offer crullers at this location. There went my idea of consistency. Then I got my latte and was very disappointed. It was more like a cappuccino — a large was less than half of a cup, it was all foam, but cost me almost $ 4.00. Trust me, not worth it and close to the cost of a Starbucks. Next time I’ll save my money and just go McDonalds.
