This a typical domestic U.S. Airport lounge. Amex Plat/Cent get free access with two guests and 7 $ credit each. I’ve used this lounge about 10 times and the staff is very nice and accommodating. This lounge is located in terminal D. You can visit it from domestic airlines in terminals A, B, and C. However, due to the disorganization of BWI… You have to go through Ds security and then back again through yours. You may also not visit it upon arrival of you do not arrive into terminal D. When passing through security for D, explain that you are going to the lounge.

This lounge is certainly not as good as the airline-run lounges(such as the Delta Sky Club), but for the $ 20 price I’d say it’s worth it, assuming you are going to be waiting for at least an hour. The $ 20 gets you a quiet place to work, a decent internet connection, relatively comfortable chairs, and unlimited snack mix/Peet’s coffee/iced tea/soda. The food/drink options are reasonably priced for an airport — where else can you get a charcuterie plate for $ 6? I arrived at BWI at 9AM and had to wait till 4PM to fly out, so for me this was definitely worth it. I tried the yogurt smoothie($ 4.50) and charcuterie plate($ 6.00), both of which were pretty good. A few things to note: — The lounge is only accessible from Terminals D and E — if you are in A through C, you’ll have to exit security and reenter — You are given a $ 7 food credit upon entry, which should be enough to afford most food items or one of the less expensive drinks. — AMEX Platinum/Black holders get free admission, and still get the $ 7 food credit — Outlets are not as prevalent as you might think — Do NOT expect the same level of service as you would receive in an airline-run lounge. There are only 2 people working here in the afternoon(and only 1 in the morning), so it can take a while to be served — The lounge gets pretty busy during the afternoon, and it’s not that large, so you might want to check if there’s a place to sit before paying for entry

The lounge was free for the whole family with an Amex platinum card. Plus $ 7 free voucher per person. Super quiet, fast wifi, meals, and a wide range of alcoholic drinks including wine, beers and cocktails makes this a welcome detour from the bustle of terminal D.

This is a very handy lounge, it also happens to be the only lounge in BWI. For a mere $ 20, or free if you have the right AMEX card, you get in and out access, a nice selection of seating and tables, complimentary beverages and snacks and a voucher for additional food items. The Internet speed is a little on the slow side but it is faster than the airport Wi-Fi. I saw an automated printing service kiosk on the upper level but didn’t look closely to see how it works. Given the price, plus the value of the food voucher, it sure beats sitting out by the gate.

Disappointing lounge– very tiny and feels like you’re still in the terminal. Nothing besides water and coffee complimentary, though they do give you a $ 7 credit towards the menu. I got in for free with my Amex card, but would definitely not consider paying full fare.

I was very happy to find this little respit from the crazy life of air travel. And being an AMEX card holder, I was able to get in. They gave me a $ 7 food and beverage credit, which took care of my breakfast sandwich and a little more. You can get something for the road as well. The only downside is they have a skinny ramp going from the reception area to the dinning area, during a busy time, trying to pass by with two people with carry on’s would be a night mare.

I had a very short layover at BWI with Southwest, but I saw I had access to a lounge with my AmEx card so I thought I’d check it out. Found out quickly I’d need to exit security and walk a bit to get there, but I have TSA Precheck so no biggie. It took awhile to find it as there’s no signs until you’re close enough to see it… in fact, there’s a sign that says«Lounge» that sends you to another area of the airport that Airspace Lounge isn’t. Finally showed up and was handed a $ 7 credit. Thought it was just for drinks but then saw they have food, so I got a charcuterie plate to go for my next flight. Have to admit that was a pretty nice feature of the lounge as most lounges in the US don’t have food. But everything else about this lounge sucked. They had two computers: one was so slow I couldn’t pull anything up, and the second didn’t have a working Internet connection. Half the reason I came to the lounge was to print out a document I needed, and that mission failed. If I had more time I could have probably gotten it to work, but I only had a few minutes to hang out. Other than paying for food or drinks, there was just some trail mix or something and some coffee out. Pretty paltry.

Need to get the scanner/credit card PC working again. The attendant wanted to write down my CC on a post-it note… Really??? It’s 2015 and with all of the security fraud… Uh, no — not my cc. Had to leave as she now wanted to enter CC into an Xcel spreadsheet… ;-(

As a free perk for being a Amex Platinum member — this lounge comes in very handy since there is no United Club or Centurion Club. I usually am here in the morning — so the meal/drink voucher is great for a free breakfast sandwich. They made the most out of the space they had and there appears to ample seating. It sounds like the afternoon is when it gets busy. You can pay $ 20 to get in but I’m not sure I would be worth it for quick visits/layovers.

Bait and switch business. Big signs all over advertising $ 20. Walk in and they say it’s $ 32. Previous post of Paul J. says $ 30. The airport administration should take action. Who’s protecting the public from this kind of offense?

This place advertises on a sign outside that it costs $ 20 and when you walk in they say it is $ 30. In my book that is false advertising, also known as lying. Don’t go there.

Free for Business Platinum members and upto 3 guests along w a $ 10 credit to spend at lounge. Plenty of Comfy seating. Quiet. Few people. Relaxing. Had a tasty Bloody María(with tequila), in house mix. My fiancé had a Manhattan– which he very much enjoyed and left him feeling real good. I had to go thru security check points twice but it was worth the relaxation before the flight.

Charging ports throughout lounge.

Good place go to before a flight. Free for BC Amex members. The place is a little quite so if someone is being loud(ex: screaming to their wife or co-workers) everyone in the room is aware of the conversation.

It’s hard to be critical of something that well, nearly comes free, that is if you have the correct credit card. On a recent visit I shared the anti pasta plate with my husband using the free credit on checking in. I have to say it was quite amazing with cannellini beans and bresola, Where did they get that great bread? The 60 Dogfish IPA was totally awesome but the extreme price cleared out my credit plus. The only real detracting part is that the«free wifi» is soo slow that your better to not use it and use the free wifi of BWI for better access. No value there.

Amex members can enjoy gratis and it’s $ 20 otherwise. Looks and lighting inspired by A Touch of Modern and a nice spot to chill out after arriving early to Concourse D because you know the TSA line can be crazy long. Free non-alcoholic drinks, plenty of outlets to charge your electronics and courteous service. Definitely worth it if you’re in need of a spot to work or rest in between flights.

If you are looking for a quiet space away from luggage, screaming toddlers, and flight delays, this is the place for you. There’s no clamoring for outlets or being hunched over a laptop in an uncomfortable seat, this is just a quiet place to work. You have to work to make this worth your money though. If you are a business traveler with some down time and need to get some work done while waiting for a flight, I highly recommend. If you are just looking for some free wifi and a beer, you’re better off at The Green Turtle. $ 20 gets you nice bench seating, private bathrooms, and a $ 7 voucher towards and alcoholic beverage and meal of your choice. You also have all the unlimited Chex mix and pepsi products/coffee your little heart desires. Big BOO to the management though: When this place initially opened, there was none of this silly voucher business. You got a free beverage and free meal. Thumbs down for taking those perks away. Also, a $ 14.50 glass of Coppola wine(that you can purchase an entire bottle for $ 19.99 in a normal wine shop) is just silly. Take it from me, stick to the bloody marys($ 6 a pop!). Happy travels!

Okay place. Nothing like a regular airline lounge, but in a smaller airport like BWI, its the only game in town. Modern, sleek, maybe even a little cold, the Airspace is a respite from the terminal. A few crackers, coffee, tea, and soft drinks. Beer and booze extra.

Good value and makes sense if you are an amex cardholder. i havent really taken advantage of being an amex member, but this is one perk i have actually used. some of the other ones are fluffy. paying 17.50 off the street… eh. maybe not a great value. lounge needs some live cable on the tv instead of streaming internet, wireless services is great, but the snacks are ok. the meal was ok too… but considering there arent alot of choices in the terminal, not a bad value.
