Bottom Line: Although small, this is one of only two Kiehl’s stores in Maryland. I understand that most people probably don’t get excited about doing their shopping in the airport, but since I find myself at BWI two to four times a month, I get super pumped when I get some errands done on the way to or from my gate. Given that one of my besties loves Kiehl’s I was excited to be able to pop in here for a gift rather than making a separate trip to Nordstrom. Fortunately for me, my customer experience here was great as the sales associated helped me pick out a gift for my friend. She also gift wrapped it for me and didn’t try to push extra products so I was on my way quickly. To get to this Kiehl’s you will have to go through Security but the store is accessible from Concourses A, B and C. The store is located between Concourse B and C.

Based on the previous reviews, I lucked out on the service front. I was helped quickly and they were only mildly pushy when suggesting«other products» I might like to try. I do love Kiehl’s products and I especially like that they’ve added travel friendly product kits. This location wasn’t terribly generous with samples but what can you do? For an airport Kiehl’s it was a-ok.

Glad to hear it wasn’t just me that was treated like an ‘intrusion’ rather than a valued customer. Ever since L’Oreal took over, Kiehls’ customer service is severely lacking. And I confidently say this as a former Kiehls employee at the original pharmacy in NY back in the 90’s.

This is a small Kiehl’s location inside BWI airport. I was on an unfortunate layover on my way out to San Diego. My hands had dried and shrivelled. Imagine my excitement as I saw a ‘now open’ sign for Kiehl’s store in the B/C connector. I scanned the shelves looking for a travel sized version of the Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Didn’t see anything but three employees huddled behind the counter, gossiping away. I grabbed a travel sized bottle of the Crème de Corps($ 11) instead and headed for the cash. I got dirty looks from Employee 2 and 3 because obviously I’ve just interrupted some juicy conversation. Employee 1 quickly rings me up and is extremely short with me when I ask about the Hand Salve or if there are any samples available. I’m a big Kiehl’s product fan but the service at this location is awful and not like any other locations I’ve been to before. At least I got my expensive hand cream… sorry for interrupting the conversation, ladies.
