Baltimore Orioles

Gorgeous place! The atmosphere is amazing, everywhere has a great view, there’s so much to see and do. I’ve been a fan of the Orioles for as long as I can remember and they didn’t let me down!

Beware of Stub Hub tix sales. The O’s just changed a Sunday afternoon start time against the Royals to 8:05 in the evening. On Sunday???
Family coming from out of town to attend and this game and this time is no longer doable. I contacted Stub Hub and they could care less

Although I am a dedicated Yankees fan, I just love a good baseball game especially in beautiful Camden yards.
The O’s territory is just stunning and it doesn’t matter where you sit in the stadium you will have a nice view of the field.
Lots of food, drinks, awesome O’s fan, and nice environment to enjoy the game.

I’m a sucka for the yard. I grew up going to games and Camden yards is so nostalgic for me. Its pretty easy to get tickets at a good price and great way to celebrate the summer. Tonight I was able to see the O’s in the playoffs in the fall although we didn’t win it was incredible night! The fans made that stadium echo. Clean awesome stadium!

Who doesn’t love the Orioles? Well I guess as I write this… Detroit fans. As a person who grew up on baseball and then lost a lot of interest in the sport after the steroid era, Oriole Park is still one of the nicest stadiums in baseball. The park is usually clean and well maintained. For the most part the fans are reasonable and don’t heckle too much or at an inappropriate level. At our last game there were young and clearly drunk fans (maybe underage) who had moved into seats near us and clearly didn’t own the tickets to them. No one really cared until they started to heckle and yell. After a few minutes, security came and made them move back to their original seats and had them calm down under threat of leaving. Besides the overpriced beer and food that is typical in all sporting events and stadiums, you can’t go wrong for a fun date or family outing at Camden Yards. Friday nights are $ 7 tickets for students which is great for a fun cheap date, just watch out because those seats are often surrounded by kids more interested in getting trashed and taking selfies than the game itself.

Go Yanks! Sorry Orioles… love Camden Yards and love coming to see the Yanks play there. Great food & drinks and not a bad seat in the house. I wish the new Yankee stadium was as fun.

Dear Camden Yards,
I have always enjoyed attending games at your ball park until today. As attendees line up to get in we waited patiently until we got to the person scanning tickets. She unfortunately did not know how to or could not scan electronic tickets. Instead of asking the guy next to her to can them for us she told us that we had to go to the beginning of the line.
As we tried cutting our way back to the front on the line (5 of us) people began yelling at us thinking we were cutting in line. Before we made it too far another person scanning tickets noticed and said he could just scan our tickets.
It created a horrible experience at the ball park literally before we even got in the gate.
If you can’t scan mobiles tickets then don’t offer them.

Newish to the area+ Baseball season+ decent tickets= fun time!
I really wanted to go to a game and found some pretty decent seats for $ 17 so some friends and I headed over for a fun afternoon.
Sadly, it rained when we got there and the only real place to take cover before the game was the outside bathrooms, but that didn’t damper our spirits. We got nice seats under an awning by the Tigers side and the section was a nice mix of Tigers and O’s fans so that was nice for fair weather fans like ourselves.
The concessions were the same pricing as any other stadium I’ve been in and the food was stadium food. Nothing special. I was hoping for a signature food/​merch item that was all O’s (Kind of like the Garlic Fries at the Giants stadium), but couldn’t find anything or anyone who knew. I will try again next time.
Overall a really fun experience.
I am still deciding if I will root for the O’s or the Nats, but it was a good spring day and I was very happy.

Great park to catch a game. Even better when the O’s are playing well. Opening day is a blast! A lot of great restaurants in walking distance, as well as the inner harbor.

What a ripoff! The fans come out to supporter the club, spend our hard earned money and the Orioles just rip us off! They refuse to spend a dollar to improve the team and just pocket all the newfound profits. What a joke. If Angelos and Duquette are too cheap to put a competitive club on the field the team should be sold to a party that actually cares about winning and rewarding a fiercely loyal fan base. No new starting pitcher, middle of the lineup bat and no closer. Pathetic — don’t support them with your money!

Camden is a mediocre park with a lot of history. There isn’t a lot going on for families; much different than many stadiums in the USA. Food wise, the crab dip looks phenomenal; I was able to get some awesome nachos and a free refill of chips and jalapenos since it was slow.
Bring your own meals along besides the hot chowdah. Outside of the stadium you can get a burger, brat, and beer all for less than $ 12. It’s a great deal.

What can be better than a day at the park!
Bring your kids. There is a small playground if they get bored.
Exceptional value with the Junior Orioles Dugout Club.
While you are there, try the Crab Dip Waffle Fries or Bacon on a Stick.
Can’t beat the friendly staff either.

Cute stadium had some character too it. Good selection of snacks. The parking was about average price for a ball park.

Ok crowd and sun is going down. Thank God I am sweating here just texting. Flying Dig Brewery has a special cask game only when it is done it is done, wicked good. Ahh there is a breeze now, thank you. Seriously though do not walk on the isles during play inconsiderate.

Let’s Go O’s! Let’s go O’s! Who doesn’t love a good baseball game! The Giants stadium in San Fran has my heart which is why i can’t give the O’s 5 stars, it’s really more like 4.5! Get out to the ball game and enjoy some peanuts and a beer!

Still a favorite place of mine to see a game. Much more down to earth than the Nats stadium. The Nats motto for customers would be «Check your Ego at the door. Oh wait a minute, it’s too big to fit in the coat check.» The Orioles would be, «Check your eg-​, your what? C’mon in hon!»
One of my favorite things about the O’s stadium (cuz it sure aint’ the baseball) is that they will let you bring a SOFT cooler in. So I can bring in my own sandwiches and soda. I don’t mind paying a lot for stadium food when it’s good but the O’s food ain’t all that.
Wow, I have used the word «ain’t» twice in one review!

Went to the Orioles v. Nats game last weekend to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had an awesome time! The stadium is absolutely stunning and had a very vintage feel. I think the restrooms could be bigger since there were only 4 stalls in the ladies room. The concession had your typical baseball stadium food, but very well priced! I am talking about 1980s prices.
The Nats were up by 1 point the entire game, and then the Orioles scored one home run at the 7^th inning. Talk about a somewhat exciting game!

So sad to see the state of this team because they used to be one of the most interesting teams ever. The whole Earl Weaver era was just great from Boog to Brooks to F-​Robby to Palmer to Cuellar to even the lesser knowns – Buford, Blair, Belanger, Etchebarren, Hendricks, McNally, etc.
Was never a big Cal Ripken era fan as he just never did anything for me. Too bland. Do like his Holiday Inn ads now so where was that personality when he played?

We live with our teams and we somehow, incredibly «die» with our teams. Though nothing changes in our real day to day lives rather they win or lose it somehow matters deeply to us. I see this in myself and my son. I can remember a time last year when following a particularly wicked Dallas Cowboy loss we both literally cried (he 15 and I 45 at the time).
Yet this is about the Orioles, our local underachievers, who every now and then strive mightily. They will beat the Yankees and then drop three to Toronto.
But you have to step back and remember that our sports teams (and the heroes as well as the goats) give us something to bond over. Something to pin our hopes against, something to hang our dreams on. A chance for those few moments of escape from whatever thing that life has on your shoulders that day. When they perform badly it is something harmless to gripe about. When they reach the heights we get to go along for the ride.
Sports should allow us to as Kipling asks of those who would be men; «to meet with triumph and disaster and threat these two imposter’s just the same.» It is not the winning or losing that matters, that is a hard lesson to learn and many of us never get it. Those who suffer the most when the cheering has stopped are those who confused sports success with self worth.
We lost my father in 2006 and he was a huge baseball fan, had played with some of the negro league players and even in the Army during Korea (See the movie A Soldier’s Story with Harold Rollins… Excellent). He spent the last couple of years of life in a nursing home. He and my son would talk sports, specifically baseball. I always marvelled at how that silly national pastime provided that common ground and bridge for three generations of my family to interact across the gulf of space and time and absent fathers and the hurt feelings that go with that. My Dad didn’t take me to many ballgames, wasn’t around that much. But, I have been given the opportunity to forgive him each time that I take my son to Camden Yards, each time I have a salty peanut and remember the story my father told me about them being bad luck.
His team was preparing to play a game and the starting pitcher hopped the fence to go to the peanut cart… he tripped and broke his ankle.
