Cartoon Cuts

This was my daughters first hair cut. It was supposed to be a memorable, sweet thing and I honestly wish I would have waited and taken her to my personal stylist. The woman who cut her hair (Amy) was not personable at all. She asked about how we wanted it and suggested what she thought would work. We listened to her. My daughter did excellent through the literal 5 minutes it took to cut her hair. She sat and watched frozen the entire time.
But I do need to back up. First of all, when we arrived our stylist seemed irritated. I signed my daughter in, and she wanted to see the elephant (they’re her favorite) so my husband took her back to see it. This seemed to irritate Amy because she wasn’t very personable through the rest of our experience. My husband tried to speak to her while she was cutting our daughters hair and was totally ignored. She barely wet my daughter’s hair and just seemed to be haphazardly cutting away. I bit my tongue and tried to take pictures and make it as positive of an experience as I could. When we were done, we went up to the front to pay and when my husband handed her the card Amy asked «do you want to charge it for $ 18?» Asking for her tip before we even offered.
Upon further inspection of my daughters hair at home, its very uneven. The left side is noticeably longer than the right and I found a couple scraggly super long pieces on the bottom once I brushed her hair out while it was wet. I could have done that at home, saved myself $ 18 and had a more memorable experience for my only child’s first haircut.
I had a high risk pregnancy and my body cannot afford to have more children. This was the only shot I had.
I’ll be taking her to my stylist in the next week to get her hair fixed.
I do not recommend this place. All of the employees are so solemn like they just don’t want to be there at all with an attitude that pretty much screams «is this really what my life has been reduced to?»
Never ever again.

Amy was rude and exasperated with us the minute we walked through the door. She told my daughter over and over that it was going to hurt and rudely told another customer to back off when she offered advice. She threw my nervousness as a new parent back in my face and we will NEVER bring our business back here.

Nicole is awesome! She cuts my 3 year old sons hair and she does a great job of getting him to sit still and talks very sweetly to him if he does move. She is the fastest person I have ever seen cut a full head of hair into a totally cool style! Its as if her hands are going in fast motion. She has cut my sons hair twice now and although she doesn’t know it yet, she is now what I consider my sons stylist! hahaha

Nicole is the best! She literally takes no more than 5 minutes on my son’s hair! And does a great job! That’s the only place I would take him :)
