When you have a hankering for something delicious, filling and healthy, this is the place to visit at the MV Marketplace. I totally crave the Egyptian spiced hummus; in my opinion, it’s the best hummus in the City. I also recommend the falafel and the ful platters, both come with a fresh side salad. The business is operated by a couple of super friendly and charming brothers, Ted and Mike. Overall, Ful Café is a wonderful addition to the area. I heart it!

Took the kids out for some dessert yesterday… MLK day and school was out. Ordered the Lebanese Chocolate cake and Crème Caramel cake. Both were amazing good. Homemade, fresh and local. The Ethiopian coffee was a perfect match. Starbucks can just take a seat.

This food is delicious. Vegan friendly, too! Came by on a chilly Saturday. The owner is friendly and hospitable. Ful is healthy and yummy. It’s like a thick bean stew served with condiments like hummus, avocado, cucumber and chopped jalapeños. Seriously comforting.

I got the Ful and some cake. I think the owner or manager had some inexperienced help. I waited forever, asked like 3 times for my food. Kept being told 5 minutes, I know Ful is street food, you usually throw it together and its ready in no time. I had friends waiting and just asked for a refund, the manager said do you want anything else, I said not really, why is the Ful taking so long? He said you wanted Ful? I thought you wanted something else. At this point I’m livid and about to cause a scene. The manager was the one who actually took my order while training a new cashier. He threw some together in like 45 seconds, the Ful was good but the Pita was stale, and the service was atrocious.

Great food! Totally agree with Susan G.‘s earlier review. Go there, you will love it. Fava beans in very flavorful sauce. The owner is extremely friendly and obviously proud of what he serves(as he should be!)

I ate dinner at Ful Café last night with a couple of friends. First of all, this shop is within the new Mt. Vernon Marketplace which, while very new and still getting ramped up, is already a great addition to the Baltimore dining scene. We had the signiture dish of Ful, which was a nicely flavorful, vegetarian dish with a base of spiced beans topped with a your choice of items such as feta cheese, tomatoes, hummus, spicy pepper, onions and more. It was homey, filling, healthy and affordable… what more could you want? They also offer falafel, tabbouleh, etc which can be made into a salad, bowl or wrap. To top it off, we spent a while chatting with the owner of the shop, Tom, who is a great dude and the kind of guy you want to see succeed. Check it out… you’ll be glad you did!
