This place reminded me of the stories about shopping in Eastern Europe when it was under Soviet control. I’ve never seen a liquor store so empty or with such little selection, and this place is pretty small to begin with. What they did have did not seem competitively priced either (6 pack of cider was $ 1 – 2 more than other places). The hard liquor is behind a wall of plastic [as is the cashier].
But it’s the closest place to my apartment, so, that’s a win.

The store is a little dusty, but great use is made of the space, as it’s packed with beer, wine, liquor, etc. The man that owns it (or the man who is behind the counter whenever I go, if he’s not the owner) is very nice. I special-requested a 6-pack of Molson Canadian beer, and within 2 – 3 days he had it in his beer case! I was really, really excited. Decent prices. Check it out!
