With a group for a bachelor party… music was good people were entertaining however… be aware the bartenders only take care of you if you flash the cash or credit card… we did the $ 50 per person food/drink deal and they give you a red cup… they make you wait forever so if this is the last bar you go to be sure to go to the bar at 10 to get a last drink by 11

Hidden Gem. Between the mechanical bull, line dancing, and flip-cup challenges it’s a pretty fun time.

This place is a joke. A dancer/employee decided that she was going to dance on the table. I was told to move my drink by the dancer. I was also told by the security that I needed to move away from the table I was standing at so that they could dance. «If I got kicked that it was my own fault» via the security/worker. Be glad I didn’t get kicked because you guys would have an assault charge filed on one of your dancers/workers. What happened to allowing customers to actually use the tables. Believe me. I will put a review on everything I can find. Stay away!

This was the worst experience that I have ever had in Baltimore. I came to town for my sisters bachelorette and she was sprayed all over with alcohol by a bartender during a chauvinistic act. A bartender offered us shots as compensation but the manager then told us that we couldn’t have them. This establishment is sexist as well as unprofessional and I recommend staying away. There are way too many great places in Baltimore to waste time here.

PBR is probably one of the better establishments at the Power Plant. They have several areas with different music playing in each one. We somehow always end up in the room with the mechanical bull… lured in by the top 40s mixed with some pop country. No interactive and earth-shaking DJ/live band here, but the music is still«danceable». They have dancers on the bull and tables that move around where the crowd needs hyping… but standard dancing, nothing special. My only legitimate negative comment is the lack of top shelf vodka selections. They serve Ciroc, but I’m a Grey Goose or Belvedere kind of girl, so I was a little disappointed. Four Ciroc and red bull cocktails came out to $ 34($ 50 with tip for our generous bartender)…I could live with that. We always have a good time, so we’ll be back!

One thing on my «Must Do Before I’m 30 List» was to ride a mechanical bull… Guess what? I was scared and back out of it… Untiiiiill I saw how much fun people were having! I did it and stayed on longer than 5 seconds! WooooHoooo!!! It was sooo much fun! The atmosphere is great as well. People watching you will cheer you on! If you are in the Baltimore area and always wanted to ride a mechanical bull… Go to PBR! It’s $ 10 to get in most nights. There are different areas to PBR, which is good because it can get packed. :)

This place is great if you love country music. There is a mechanical bull and things get wild on there. Good people watching, a little trashy.

I just held our holiday party at PBR and it was a blast. the team had a lot of fun riding the bull. Jake, who was the operator, did a nice job making us all feel like we knew what we were doing. Once the party ended, many of stayed on afterward to have some more fun with the Amish Outlaws. One more thing, the outfits on the girls… WOW. Great time!

Despite the reviews warning readers away from PBR, our group actually had a good time! We came here for a bachelorette party; the bride rides horses and does cattle roping, so we thought this would be something right up her alley. It was about 11PM on Saturday night. If you didn’t have a reservation, you would have to stand in line with the other peasants – which is exactly what we did. It took a good fifteen minutes to get through the line, with a $ 10 cover. Once in, we ordered drinks from a very overwhelmed lone bartender who either genuinely did not see us, standing at his bar for ten minutes, or just straight up ignored us. Once in the actual PBR, we had to fight our way through the packed dance floor just to get to the bull riding pit. I lost about half my rum and coke which was running down my leg… The other half that I was able to salvage was very strong. Probably worth the $ 8 my friend paid for it since I started catching a buzz early on. Anyway, we watched the mechanical bull for a while, alternately cheering on our favorites, and dancing to the music(great pop-country selection). The cowboy controlling the bull was very easy on the eyes… VERY easy … To the jealousy of a lot of females that night, my cattle-roping bride friend spoke to him a while, and found out that he was a true-blue bull riding cowboy. Probably the most entertaining part of the night was watching girl after girl purposely fall off the bull onto him. The dancers in the butt-less chaps were gorgeous as well, and very friendly, to my surprise! The dance floor stayed packed when we left around 1AM. Great, high energy bar, save for a couple of older, skeezy gentlemen, groping everything they could get their hands on, and the poor girl who was vomming over the balcony outside the bar! If you plan to come to PBR, make sure you make reservations and come a bit early!

Whats up with all the douchebag dudes getting into fights at this place? Seriously we saw baltimore cops haul out 1 guy, security broke up a huge fight that left one of the smaller guys bloodied up. Then another fight broke out on the patio area. At least the bartenders were cool and served us fast. But take our word: This is not a bar u take a date to. Too many douchebags

Bull riding here is the best. Let me warm you though to remove any jewelry because a friend of mind did injure herself by here bracelet cutting into her skin as she fell off. The staff here is very friendly. I myself being a plus size girl and short have trouble getting on the bull but the staff has never showed any prejudice. I love it. If you are willing to ride they are willing to assist you no matter how many times you want to try. Go get your ride on. Yippee

PBR… Does not stand for the beer, like most people thing. It stands for Professional Bull Riding. They do have a mechanical bull, but the line is usually real long. Get their early if you want to hop on it. This is the best place in Power Plant Live. Power plant in general is for tourists, but that does not mean it is not a lot of fun. If you are with a group of friends this is the place to go. Drink prices are reasonable and there is always a crowd on the weekends. For guys there are ladies dancing on tables in chapps with their butts out. Traditional/classy females may get offended as happened to my buddy’s girlfriend. Leave those types of girls at home. Tip: If there is a concert outside you can get a great view from PBRs outside area. Get there early.(I think cover is $ 10 after a certain time, again get their early)

I was curious to see why everyone was so excited about PBR. I think the draw is the mechanical bull and the country music. This is a theme bar with bartenders/servers dressed as cowboys, rodeo clowns and cowgirls in chaps. They have 3 large bars and the bartenders are attentive. We came here on the bequest of our friend, the bride-to-be. She enjoys country music and wanted to ride the bull. It was our first stop in our bar crawl for her bachelorette party. Unfortunately, it was our last stop. Who gets hurt on a mechanical bull? Lesson learned: Riding the bull is not a good thing a week before your wedding. Thanks to PBR for providing ice for our friend’s ankle and for getting her down the elevator.

Power Plant has made some serious upgrades since the beginning of the year. Mosaic has expanded with a larger outdoor area and stage, Baltimore Comedy Factory has been added and there is still more to come by the end of the year. My favorite new addition is PBR. It opened a few months ago and I’ve been quite a few times and have yet to be disappointed. It is on the upper level next to Angels Rock Bar. If you are a fan of country music, then you will definitely love this place. You will love it even if you aren’t a huge country fan. The dj mixes up country with Top 40 and hip hop music so there is something for everyone. The girls that work there wear sexy chaps that show off their red booty shorts while they dance on top of the bars to certain line dances and get the crowd pumped. There are three bars as well as a beer tub stand so you have plenty of choices to grab drinks. The best thing about PBR is the mechanical bull that all the drunken guys and girls attempt to ride. Some are pretty good, but most only last a few seconds. There are tvs all over the place with a live view of the bull so everyone can watch even if they aren’t near the action. If you aren’t brave(drunk) enough to get on for a ride, it is great for just people watching. I could probably watch that all day long. They tend to go easier on the girls and make it a rougher ride for the guys. Cover charge is $ 10 on Fridays and Saturdays, but if you friend them on Facebook or sign up for their emails through their website, then you can usually score a sweet happy hour deal with free cover for you and your friends. Also, once you get in, you can go to PBR or Angels Rock Bar, so it’s like 2 clubs for the price of one.

There’s a mechanical bull in the middle of this place. That’s really the only thing you need to know. They also play a good mix of music. Heard both Joan Jett and Jason Aldean, which is always a good thing in my book!

Enjoyed the grand opening of PBR last Friday night(and the UYE :)). The space is well designed with an open feel and features 3 separate bars, with the mechanical bull being the focal point(for better or for worse – I got more than 1 crotch shot from an older woman in a mini skirt), and a large patio area. The bartenders were attentive and friendly, there was no shortage of girls dancing in chaps for the men, and the DJ kept the crowd dancing with a mix of country & pop. A good time was had by all.
