I’ve been to all the Ram’s Head locations. Some are better than others. The Happy Hours at the Annapolis location is good. The service and food at the Kent Island«Shore House» is terrible. I was on my way back from the beach on a late night Saturday night and wanted to get something to eat and a beer when we stopped into the«Shore House.» I opened the door and a bad bad playing way, way too loud blasted me. No hostess, I found a table on my own. When a waitress finally showed up, she had no menus and had plenty of bad attitude. I got up and walked out. Their beer is ok but not great, and everything else is very, very subpar.

Okay, so my flight was wheels up at 5:45am, its early, I’m hungry and i really didnt feel like atanding in line for 30 minutes for an Einstein Brothers bagel. Tams Head’s open and the waitress reccomend the pancakes. Great, pancakes and coffee, I’m sold. Nope. Lousy cakes, served on foam plates with funny tasting maple syrup. Didn’t finish them. Even for airport food, this was bad. I really just wanted to settle the tab and move on, but then the waitress/bartender disappeared. As other reviews said, get a beer and wait for your flight. If you’re hungry, get a bag of chips at Hudson News.

Terrible. Wife ordered the french dip and took one bite and said she could eat it, it was so bad. I thought she was being dramatic so I took a bite and spit it out in my napkin. We ended up splitting my quesadilla but didn’t even finish that. Fries were nice and crispy though. Only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 was the staff was nice, 90’s music playing, and the beer was flowing.

This was our 1st stop on our trip to the Keys. Finally, an airport bar that doesn’t suck. And do we want a double for an extra $ 3? Yes, yes we do. Good service and decent drinks.

Had some time before a flight, so stopped in here for a little breakfast. We were seated and told it would be 20 – 30 min before we could get food. As I watched, I saw that this was because both the cooks were eating breakfast for at least 20 min. The bar girl was also eating. She made a few drinks in between bites, never once washing her hands. Brooke, the only waitperson, waited on all the tables and washed glasses, and the place was full of customers. That girl deserves a raise and promotion. Someone should be watching the staff. Why do both cooks need to eat at the same time? The Bloody Mary was sad, esp for $ 8 price tag. I would not want my family name on this«family run business».

I wasn’t a Unilocaler before, but the staff at this restaurant inspired me to create one. The service was fine, but the way they handled a very rude guest needed some praise. This guy that sat down across from me at an apparently dirty table(the only one), shewed the manager away as he tried to wipe it down for him, then rudely denied a request for drinks. A young lady then came and took his food order. I overheard the man say something about scrambled eggs. His food came to the table some minutes after, and he started waving his arms around at the young lady saying that he ordered over-easy eggs. She calmly got the manager, who came and apologized to this guy who was already starting to be a real jerk-off. The guy stated that he wanted a whole new plate: «this is ridiculous!!!», he screamed. I started to eat my breakfast, which was just fine — over medium eggs with good ham. Not even 5 minutes later the manager returns with a brand new plate for the guy, apologizing again for his dissatisfaction. Then, with the temper tantrum of a 5 year old who just got their candy taken away, the customer starts stabbing the eggs with his fork, while cursing loudly enough for everyone to hear(kids included). The waitress came back and asked«Is everything okay?», to which the man replied: «NO! ANDGOODBYE!!!» The manager came back with a smile on his face and asked what he could do for the customer to accommodate him better. The customer just ignored him, shoved past him, and left. I think the staff in this place handled every thing beautifully and it just needed some acknowledgement. They dealt with a true human stain of a person who could not possibly be made happy in the most professional manner possible. If I fly to dallas again, I will surely return.

Beef Dip is way too salty, couldn’t eat it but the manager would not credit the cost. Go to Pot Belly instead!

As airport lounges go this ranks pretty high on my list. Wait staff is attentive but laid back. My guy knew the wine list by heart and was great to me. I heard him recommend the crab cake to another table so I tried it. Yum. Did not expect a very large, mostly lump, little filler crab cake here. Hot, fresh and served with crisp fries and a crunchy pickle on a nice soft bun along with LTO. Just enough old bay in the mix and just enough tang to the cocktail sauce I asked for. For $ 14 it’s not cheap but hey it’s Maryland crab and lots of it Other menu items looked tempting too. The French dip smelled awesome. It’s rare when I can declare victory inside the lockdown of airport security. Especially in terminal C. Well played BWI. As I’m writing this the kitchen closed at 7 pm but a bunch of weary delayed flight travelers arrived at 7:05 and were totally bummed when told they were out of luck. The manager stepped up and offered to keep the kitchen open for them. I just upped my stars to five. Kudos to the management.

Like my fellow Unilocalers said, get a drink here but don’t go near the food. I was starving, having not eaten all day and my flight was delayed. It was this or Potbelly and it looked nicer. I ordered a burger. It was a frozen, fatty, chewy piece of meat(maybe) that would make McDonald’s seem gourmet. I am now sitting on the plane wishing I had Tums. The things you do when you have an empty stomach.

Do not get it. At least 4 gates of delayed flights tonight, and Ram’s Head decides to close at 8 pm. As of 7:30, would not even allow folks in. Certainly could have made some significant money, as they probably turned away 200+ people between 730 and 830.

I’ll start out by saying that I’m not a frequent visitor of Ram’s Head, so maybe I’ve just not seen it on its worst days, but I’ve never really had a bad experience here. They have a great happy hour with FREE food and great drink specials, and their basement bar has a great ambience, taking you back to the days of secret pirate abodes. I love the dark wood, narrow staircase, and brick walls. And with over 100 beers to choose from, you’re bound to find SOMETHING you like.

Can you do 0 stars? Stood on rail for 5 min as bartender went from person to person and two wait staff just stood by their registers and yacked. Don’t wait till the end of the C terminal if you’re thirsty

I’m not sure why this place gets an average of 2 stars. It’s really not that bad for an airport restaurant. Stick to the basics when ordering food. The beer is actually pretty good. I had their dark beer and it was really good. After I knocked back a couple of beers I was ready for my flight home.

I’m giving three stars for the atmosphere. That’s it. This place *SHOULD* be awesome… they have the set-up to have a great restaurant and bar. But do they leverage that awesomeness? Nope. The back-deck was great– good room, pretty scenery. However, our server sucked and our food was sub-par. It took them almost 1.5 hours to bring out our entrée salads. SALADS. Not to mention our sever forgot parts of all of our orders and came back to refill our drinks once within the two hour span we were there. Hmmm. And did I mention that we were there on a Monday, when no one was really around? Double hmmm. I can’t speak for the bar scene inside… the beer selection didn’t look like anything magical but I don’t pretend to be a beer connoisseur. Give me a Blue Moon anytime. Will I be going back here? Probably not, unless forced to(forced = friends going and me saying«sure, why not»). Too bad, Ram’s Head. I had such high hopes.

If your only stopping in to get a beer, sure go for it however the service & food take FOREVER! Between sitting down and receiving our food, it took well over thirty minutes. I would of walked out if this was anywhere else, like most people I was flying out but that didn’t concern them. The staff took their sweet time and we even sat down at a dirty table. My little piece of advice, go walk down to Wendys because at least you’ll get what you payed for without wasting a hr.

The food’s what you expect in a typical airport. I didn’t have any issues with it, but I wouldn’t seek out this place. The waitress was great; she helped guide me to a better choice. I believe I had an ok chicken sandwich, but I can’t quite remember. Their Copperhead ale is quite good. We were there on a Wednesday for lunch. Service was quick and attentive; we had no issues squeezing in lunch before our flight. The beer is freakin’ large. Not normally an issue, but be sure to time bodily functions properly in case your plane is stuck on the runway for a while.

This place is horrible. Absolutely do not come here. We piled into a booth and one of my companions got slimed by the table. She went running off to wash off and we had the staff clean the entire table off. Two burgers, one caesar salad and some sort of quesadilla. The burgers were dried out hockey pucks like the ones you got in jr high school. The salad made someone sick and quesadilla was tasteless, even after half a bottle of tabasco. Plus, the staff, try as they might, was really slow and pretty poor in general. Come here or go hongry. Go hongry next time. You won’t regret it.

Not a real fan, but it is an alternative when you’re in a pinch in the American terminal at BWI… not much more there…
