Smoothie King

This place gets the job done. Employees are mediocre and show no care for their job (I understand). But the last time I came there was a friend of the employee just sitting there charging his phone. Aka Loiterer. The smoothies here also just get the job done. It’s just another franchise with specific instructions on how much of each ingredient to put. The problem with Smoothie King is that they put too much protein powder in that the smoothie starts to taste more like the powder instead of the fruit! But I won’t complain about the abundant gainZ. This smoothie king is convenient, reasonable hours (compared to Pure Raw Juice), and has free lot parking.

The good thing about this particular Smoothing King is that they offer $ 5 medium on certain day limited time. It is also in the nice shopping place in federal hill, downtown baltimore city.

So I don’t know what all the hype about Jamba Juice is, but Smoothie King here is the OG. I’m a long time fan of the Angel Food (strawberry and banana dominant), but have recently become a fan of the Green Tea Tango (choose your own fruit, not on the menu for some reason).
Be aware that the smoothies are sweeter than most, but you can definitely customize it to your preference.
This particular shop is near Latrobe park where you can play tennis, basketball, hockey or let your dog roam free in the dog park and then stop by for a refreshing smoothie.
One star off for some inconsistencies in blending and ingredient proportions, but always a solid bet.

1^st time here server recommended most popular-​angel food to my hubby who refuses to read menu boards (lol) I saw passion fruit n kiwi 2 of my favorite flavors n asked for his opinion on which to try ended up getting the passion fruit as he promised it had an authentic passion taste-​he wasn’t wrong I’m glad of the choice n so is my husband who ended up taking ½ my smoothie after trying it!

Yum !!! Angel food in the morning great way to start the day ! Always yummy & fast. Fridays are 5 dollar smoothie day !!!

a clean smoothie king always with friendly service! there’s a huge parking lot in this strip mall, so that’s never a problem. I have been to this location twice and there was never a line.
on fridays they have medium smoothies for $ 5 (by the way the medium is HUGE; would NEVER be able to finish it all!)
not sure when the $ 5 deal ends but it’s only for a limited time.
the second time I went they made my smoothie incorrectly and I didn’t realize it until I got home. Thus, I will remove one star from my review.

We were in the area of Fed Hill and I was craving a smoothie so my husband picked me up a one from this location. The wait wasn’t long but it’s best to go with someone else so you can avoid the hassle of city parking.
I got a 20oz angel food smoothie which was delicious. The 20oz size is quite large so I’m not sure how much more anyone needs in a smoothie.
There are some yummy options on the menu so I would be open to trying other options next time but the Angel food did not disappoint!

My wife and I left the gym and thought we would get a fresh fruit treat so we looked up places near by and found «Smoothie King» :-/​… I asked the guy who was there if they used concentrate and he answered «nothing with strawberry, banana or kiwis has concentrate» which wasn’t true based on the huge menu on the wall… that also said «all ingredients are not listed». what does that mean? Also you can’t watch them make your order unless you stand over in the corner. I heard a lot of pumping I didn’t see him cut 1 piece of fruit… If you want something sweet n quick yes go here but if you want to be certain all you’re getting is fruit n ice. don’t… 3 stars for convenience..

First time here and OMG it was awesome! Smoothie was nice sized for the low price. Smoothie was AMAZEBALLZ! Girl making the smoothie could use some coffee or a red bull tho. Otherwise DEF coming back!

So we can start with the fact that I LOVE Smoothing Kings in general. And this one offers what I have come to expect from them: good, quick service with a tasty beverage at the end. Whether you are already a fan like me, or if you’re looking for your first health smoothie, this place is a solid choice. If it is your first time, Smoothie King is a health-​food kind of smoothie, mixing fruits and/​or yogurts with supplements. But if that’s not your speed, they have non-​supplement smoothies as well. Their menu is actually quite extensive. And they have kids sizes too.
Need I say more?
Well, maybe one more thing… this is the first and still only (to my knowledge) Smoothie King in Baltimore city limits. I’m so happy that there’s one closer than the ‘burbs now! It’s also super easy to get to (located in the Shopper’s plaza off of Key Hwy in Fed. Hill). Enjoy, smoothie lovers.
