I was looking for something quick and good… and this was it! I ordered the chicken nachos. Great service and great food!

We stopped here for a quick bite and it was really delicious! Though definitely overpriced… 1. Taco platter. $ 10. You get two tacos, rice, beans, sour cream, a spoonful of guacamole. Not worth the price in my opinion. The tacos were pretty small and there were only a few bites of meat. The rice was pretty tasty though and flavorful. 2. Burrito. $ 10. Definitely a better value. I got the steak and every bite was filled with juicy tender meat. The burrito was also filled with black beans and rice. I didn’t choose the pinto beans, but I was told those are cooked in lard and fat(!!!) My burrito was so juicy that actual bean/meat liquid was gushing out from the bottom so make sure you eat it over a plate. 3. Chips and Guacamole. $ 6. Way overpriced. Probably on the same level as Chipotle. 4. Salsa bar! They have a section where you can pick your own salsa. They had a variety of different types– some spicy, mild, smoky. I recommend the mango salsa! Chunky, sweet, and so delicious. 5. Price: For our two meals, the chips and a soda, it was $ 28. OUCH. At Chipotle, we usually share one burrito bowl, get chips/guac, and a soda and its $ 12. The prices here are definitely ramped up because it’s in that bougie harbor east neighborhood. Oh! I also saw they had slushy margaritas and they looked pretty delicious…

On this hot sunny day in Baltimore my homeboy and I dined at Taco Fiesta! I had The Vegetarian Taco Salad bowl was very fresh, I added extra salsa from there salsa station. The Vegetarian Taco Salad comes with a good helping of sour cream and guacamole. This salad is so to die for because all the vegetables are so fresh and the other items as well My homeboy had the chicken and cheese burrito he devoured it lol. My only issue today was the order taker was not really listening, but I am so glad our food came quickly.

This place was a great find, walking back to our hotel room and came upon it. It is in a great area with a good atmosphere. They have a full bar and the food is very tasty!!! Was not disappointed.

Any place named Taco Fiesta on the East Coast must be tried. So here we go… I love that this place is in a good area and not directly in Fells Point. Don’t get me wrong… I love Fells but not all the time. This place gets points for having a full bar, vibrant interior, and cool employees. The food isn’t the absolutely greatest Mexican, but you know… Mexico is about 2300 miles away so beggars can’t be choosers. The salsa bar is awesome with a diverse selection of the favorites and the menu is diverse. This place gets dinged for not so great taquitos, but makes up it when the staff noticed that the plate wasn’t touched and offered a complimentary carne asada taco. Btw… the taco was super flavorful. I’d come back here.

Screw everybody else that gave this place bad reviews. This place is the bomb. If for no other reason, you can pop in, grab a margarita, slam it while sitting out at the sidewalk tables if the weather is nice, and then wandering Harbor East. Food is decent. Service isn’t horrible. Get over yourselves people. It’s called Taco Fiesta. This isn’t The Ritz.

Looking for a spot to eat before watching Batman V Superman and came across this delicious spot! It’s like a Moe’s Southwest Grill but tastes so much better. It’s fast food but with moderate pricing. My husband and I had the quesadilla which was excellent and we also had queso dip and I had guac. Just everything was very tasty that we thought about doing dinner here twice in a row.

Average Mexican food. I get their quesadilla, which is ok. Nothing fancy. Kinda like Qdoba but with better vibe, atmosphere, and alcohol.

Went with a group of friends last night for a birthday night out that consisted of dinner and a concert. Taco Fiesta, in my estimation, is just another in a long line of Baltimore area Mexican eateries that are basically okay. I had the steak burrito«enchilada style,» and thought it was pretty good, with the steak perfectly done. My gal went with the pork burrito enchilada style, and it was pretty good as well. I didn’t think much of my sides of rice and refried beans, both of which were rather dry and not so tasty. The beer selection is the usual Mexican restaurant fare– Modelo, Pacifico, Tecate, Corona, etc., but with a thankful addition of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on tap. M’lady opted for a margarita that was very sweet and ended up becoming our table’s mad scientist-mixologist experiment. First some ice water was added. Then some salt, then a splash of hot sauce. Then some beer. Nothing truly redeemed it, unfortunately. Another unusual highlight of the evening was one of the gang finding a long, thin strip of plastic in his food, probably a strip that came off of some ingredient that was packaged in a plastic container. Other notes: One the plus side, the food came out quickly, and they quickly accommodated our large group in the upstairs section. On the minus side, over and above the terrible margarita and the plastic strip, their salsas just aren’t very good. One tasted like it was heavily laden with cinnamon and nutmeg, and most others were sort of bland. So, overall a perhaps generous 3 stars, rounding up from what I’d say was a 2.5 star experience.

Any place that advertises«grilled steak» as an option, then serves roast, thinking customers are not smart enough to know the difference, deserves zero stars. But alas, that wasn’t an option. Way overpriced for mediocre food. This place is a waste of space and a disgrace to the term«Tex-Mex». Save your money and your appetite for something good, not this place.

I’m from CA and spent the last 13 years in San Diego. I came here for work and have been fearing any and all«Mexican restaurants» per other Unilocal reviews. I came here because after three weeks I finally needed something other than crab. Monday is buy one get one free on all Mexican beers, house margaritas, or tequila shots(presumably also house shots). The margarita and tequila were premixed in a giant jug. I felt like I was 19 in a club in Tijuana. It was super sweet and basically all syrup. I watched the bartender serve nice pours of alcohol to other customers who knew better than the specials. The fish taco was absolutely delicious. The steak taco didn’t feel Mexican at all but it was really good too. The best part though was that Jack was super nice and just a friendly dude behind the bar. After talking to him about the margarita he made things right. I’ll probably be back before I leave just to give them more business because of Jack. I will avoid the margarita syrup though. Not for me.

The portions are HUGE, so keep that in mind when ordering! This is a pretty run of the mill tex-mex place. Not really good, but not bad either. Super casual.

Looking for a quick lunch after just arriving in Baltimore, and we are happy to have found this place! Lots of options on the menu… I went with the pork quesadilla platter and my bf got a chicken burrito bowl — both plenty of food and really yummy! Order at the counter, they deliver to your table and there is an amazing salsa bar so everyone can pick what they like. The house margarita and music didn’t hurt the vibe of the place at all :-)

Taco Fiesta is a casual Mexican place with essential Mexican offerings and a full bar. The food is made for you and brought to your table after you order at the register. I generally like the quesadillas but the salads are okay too. I think it’s a good choice for a casual meal and with the movie theater less than a block away, it’s definitely convenient. The drinks are okay and the prices are competitive enough for Harbor East.

The quality of the ingredients at this restaurant is extremely low. The tomatoes in every salsa were unripened, the mango«salsa» had nothing in it resembling mango, and the retried pinto beans tasted like they were from a can. They also offer no sautéed vegetables like peppers or onions which I feel should be expected especially for fajitas and burrito bowls. The guacamole I paid extra for was the size of a tablespoon and I just feel I extremely overpaid for this meal.

One of my favorite types of food is Mexican. For dinner one evening, I was craving a burrito and had heard great things about Taco Fiesta in Harbor East. My roommate is always down for Mexican so we headed over to taco fiesta. We decided to start our meal with the Chips and Fiesta Queso Dip. The dip was melted cheese with tomato, onion and jalapeño mixed in. The queso was nice and cheesy and the jalapeño gave it a nice spicy kick which complimented the dip well but wasn’t overwhelming. My roommate ordered the Chicken Taco Platter. It came with grilled and spiced chicken breasts which were diced in the tacos with tomato and lettuce. Then on the side there was sour cream, rice and guacamole. For the price, the platter was very generous and everything had nice flavors. I was craving a burrito, so I ordered the Steak Burrito. THISBURRITOWASHUGE. And it was delicious. Each bite was bursting with flavors from the well marinated steak, pick de gallo, rice, beans and salsas. It was also made really well where I got a variety of things in each bite(unlike in one of my favorite essays where the author was unimpressed by his burrito builder.) If you’re looking for a huge burrito, or some other great Mexican food, head over to Taco Fiesta in Harbor East and you’re sure to be impressed.

I really like this place — the tacos are delicious, it’s a lively environment, and the price is just right! The fish tacos are THEBEST! I also really like their tortilla chips and selection of different salsas. It’s a great pre-movie place to grab a bite to eat. Funny story is I actually came here from the Fells Point Festival where the arepas booth was trying to sell $ 7 for a SINGLE arepa. Whack. For $ 7, I could get TWO fish tacos at Taco Fiesta — so much more worth it! It’d be hard to choose between this place and Chipotle, I think that’s the best compliment I can pay this establishment :)

Good for Happy Hour especially on Friday w/the free buffet, but that’s about it. I used to go here for lunch quite a bit but the it got to the point where I was spending over ½ my lunch hour waiting in line and than for my order. The prices aren’t great either, they charge for chips that most other places give away, especially sides and add ons(+$ 3 to fry burrito). The burritos and quesadilla are OK but stay away from the TACOS — they are the worst thing you can order. Take a walk around Upper Fells Point/Eastern Ave and you’ll do far better.

I really wanted to like this place, especially since it’s practically down the street. But seriously the best thing about this place was their salsas and condiments. Veggie Taco — huge disappointment. Globs of ingredients just mashed into 2 corn tortillas… everything tasted far from fresh. Fish Tacos — the tilapia had a nice crunch, but this taco was so overstuffed and drenched in some sort of sauce that it was very difficult to eat and it was hard to actually taste the fish. Was this a kitchen error? I’m not sure. Enchiladas — hubby had this and I could have easily made this at home. In fact I do, and he takes it to lunch once a week! :) Nachos — the chips were pretty good! The rest of the components were just ok. If you’re looking for authentic mexican food, keep walking.
