I would come here solely for the clam chowder. But the steaks are quality cuts of meat and the chef prepared it perfectly.

Ordered the Filet Mignon medium rare. Arrived over-cooked, dry and tough. Definitely disappointed. Not a $ 33.00 meal. Baked potato was the best part of the meal.

Too often hotel restaurants just do not serve good food even though the meals are expensive. That is NOT true a Godfrey’s at the Sheraton in Bangor. Very good diverse menu with excellent food and friendly servers. Although the meals are not inexpensive, I think there is good value and the restaurant/bar is worth a visit.

I went out of my way to stop here again this summer, because it’s hard to find good food in such a remote area. Once again, the food at Godfrey’s Grille was excellent. The only thing is that it is a little expensive… however, it’s worth it to stop here if you are in Bangor, ME.

My flight was delayed to I wandered in with my girlfriend to pass the time. The bartenders were friendly, the service was great, they had New England beers on draft, free pulled pork BBQ sandwiches for their happy hour and the items we ordered from the menu were tasty and fresh. Far exceeded my expectations. If you need a beer or snack before a flight, definitely stop by.

Food had to be frozen pre-fab, tasted like a school cafeteria. We flew in at 1:00pm they’re closed from 1 – 5, so we had to wait 4 hours.

Food: The lobster roll was incredible and my boyfriend really like the chicken sandwich. Atmosphere: This is a typical 3star hotel cookie cutter ambiance. Don’t come here for the atmosphere but do try their lobster roll!

Wasn’t open for lunch past 1pm then doesn’t open for dinner until 5pm! Had to eat in the airport.

The food is decent. However the servers act like your in a morgue. If your stuck in Bangor airport, this is an ok selection. If you have options head into town.

Very good option if staying near the airport. I was in town for business and dined here a couple times. It’s just so convenient and service was excellent. Lunch and dinner menus offered a good variety of options. The scallop entrée was disappointing(overcooked) but the lobster roll and clam chowder were both particularly tasty.

During a recent stay at the Sheraton, I had dinner and breakfast at Godfrey’s. They have a great menu and the food was excellent; I strongly recommend the Godfrey’s Sandwich and the New England Clam Chowder. Also, the staff was very attentive and friendly. Guest service is very important to me and my visits to Godfrey’s were among the best. I also liked that the restaurant had a casual atmosphere but very nice, contemporary décor and setting. This restaurant certainly exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning during my next visit to the Bangor area.

good corned beef hash and eggs in the am. so good that i ordered them everyday i was there. concerned about their apparent understanding of «over easy». It’s what i call scrambled. and i hate scrambled eggs. i saw too many of them sqwooshed into the shag carpets of the kid-filled, Utah homes of my youth. Good local beer selection and the evening bartender, alex? is really nice. keeps my husband company on his evening trips here without me.

Ordered two meals for around $ 35 each. Both meals came out cold and were not flavorful at all. When they brought them back from reheating them, they were still cold. The only thing good about this restaurant was the waiter we had. Even though he was the only waiter in the whole restaurant for the evening so it took 10 – 15 min every time we needed a drink refill. For the money, there’s definitely better places out there.

*****Five Stars ONLY if it’s a Tuesday night***** (keep reading to see why) Pretty decent food here, good beer selection, VERYCLEAN! I was stranded overnight at the airport the night of 23 February, booked a room at Four Points and came here for dinner Alcohol: There’s a full bar here and they’ve got a good selection of bottled beer, at least 10 different brews. Tuesday night’s there’s a free happy hour from 5:30−7pm for hotel guests Food: There’s steak and lobster which I didn’t try and you’ve got your standard New England Bar Food: Burgers, Quesadillas, Lobster Rolls, Fries, etc.. . All were good! Me and a few other stranded passengers had no complaints.(might have been the free booze talking but whatever…) I like this place!
