Ham sandwich with cheddar on soft tasty sourdough. Sweetie had a homemade Belgian waffle made from scratch. Charming surroundings including a beautiful copper ceiling. Service was friendly and attentive. A positive experience all around. Next time dessert.

Had the spinach, mushroom, and jack cheese omelette. Prices are a little high when you have ihop and many other options around. I was the only guest there. They don’t offer table service, but still ask if you want to leave a tip. I think a tip is earned by the service. Overall the food was good and the place was clean. A few changes could help them stay in business.

Really excellent food. Great service. Chef Vidal is super friendly. I can tell the ingredients are fresh and cooked healthy. I love the Vidal wrap and Chipotle panini. Even the side of fruit is fresh and ripe every time.

My friend termed it as a «perfect brunch» and while I ALMOST tend to agree with him, the only thing stopping me was the chai tea latte I had ordered. It was quite weak and all I could taste was milk. But beverage aside, the food was absolutely scrumptious! I had the pesto tomato grilled panini with a side of fruits and it was heavenly. The sandwich had spinach and olives as well contributing to quite a more-than-enough portion size! My friend had their breakfast burrito with a side of hashbrowns and I could see from the smile on his face that he was totally enjoying it! Food aside, their ambience is quite cheerful and inviting, nestled in a brick building! One thing to note though, their are quite hard to find if you aren’t familiar with this area; no boards or signs! It’s a great place to chill out, the staff is friendly, the tables are cosy and rustic, I’ll come again! PS: they have a Groupon running, don’t miss it

Another hit from the Russo family. Along with Russo’s Italian Kitchen and The Stoppe. The Haven is a great addition. Breakfast and lunch menu, along with sweets and coffee. They use Boars Head meats, hands down my favorite. I had the pastrami dip, the horseradish was fresh and not overwhelming. The coffee was hot and not burnt or bitter. Nice quiet atmosphere, downtown Banning.

Cute little spot for breakfast, sandwiches, wraps They have milk substitutes(soy and almond) for an extra charge. Lots of drink options They have a vegetarian option for almost each category(I.e veggie sandwich, veggie omelettes) The service is good. Fast and friendly. Interior looks cute and very clean, even the restrooms. They made a mini mistake by forgetting our toast but realized it on their own and offered to make up for it without us even saying anything. I like that! :) Good amount of parking in the back and several 30 minute green zones to park on the streets. Nothing bad to say about this place. If it had gluten free and vegan options that would make this place a 5 star.

Really impressed. Nice atmosphere, clean, delicious food made with quality ingredients, friendly staff. As a banning resident I’m so excited to have discovered a local place to eat that isn’t greasy junk food or «country cooking», not that that isn’t ok every now and then but it gets old not have any other options!

Try the Chipotle chicken panini. Wonderful sandwich. Plenty of chicken. A little bite from the Chipotle peppers in the chicken. Large portion as well. Try it, you’ll like it!

My Mom and I pass through Banning many times when going out to La Quinta. We were heading home and wanted to have breakfast. Where to eat in Banning??? I pulled up Unilocal and Russo’s Haven came up and had great reviews. Who knew… a diamond in the rough!!! We are in LOVE!!! The atmosphere was charming, spotless clean, priced right, fresh and delicious. Their coffee is the best. We had the croissant breakfast sandwich with avocado instead of bacon and hash browns. I cant stop thinking about what a delightful morning it was eating here, we didn’t want to leave. There is not waitresses so you have to ask for what you might need at the counter which we did not mind. We are looking forward to eating here again. You will not be disappointed.

Nice coffee house. Sandwiches and salad were good! Fruit side was fresh! Ordered the California sandwich. House salad is big enough for two if you order as a side. Ice tea was brewed perfectly. We will be back! One thing missing or perhaps I just missed it, nothing catered to little ones. I shared my meal with my granddaughter, would have liked if they offered a kids sand.

We stumbled on Haven this morning. What a great dining experience. The food was top notch and prepared in view. The cleanliness, music, service, and décor was excellent. Even my trip to the rest room was satisfying, it was clean and smelled like fresh lemons in there. You could not possibly be disappointed in eating there. Oh by the way, they have a nice little art studio connected if you want to check it out while waiting for your meal. Very nice!

An excellent stop for breakfast or lunch in Banning. Clean and friendly, many healthy options. I had oatmeal with cranberries and pecans and my husband had a flavorful breakfast panini. The cook makes a delicious fresh chunky salsa. They also have a wide selection of espresso drinks and pastries. Easy off/on freeway access.

If you are going to the outlets and need fuel for the body, stop by here instead of attempting to eat at Cabazon. They have breakfast, sandwiches, salads, coffee, etc. The restaurant is artsy and pretty large and most importantly their food is good. Parking out back and its right off the freeway.

Wow great find! Literally in B.F.E. I was trying to find a Chase Bank to withdraw some money before headed into Morongo Casino to pay the local tribe with my hard earned money!!! Damn you number 23, 17, and 27!!! Anyways back to the review… Parking was ample at the time, just parked on the green curb(30 minute parking). I saw some cops eat there when I had initially passed by, so I knew it was good prior to even checking Unilocal reviews. I ordered the Deluxe Burrito and an iced white chocolate mocha — MY oh MY probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever have. Service was great too, since I live in OC you get a lot of that corporate crap on how to treat customers, this place was mom’s and pop’s — so the service was geniue and sincere. Will be back for sure if I ever decide to track up to Banning.

Stopped in on my way back from Palm Springs craving something sweet. Had a coffee and the puff pastry cherry turnover. It was so delicious I had a second. Great little place with nice atmosphere and décor and friendly staff. I will be back especially if they have egg custard!

One of the best little places in Banning. It’s located close to City Hall & the Fox Movie Theater on Ramsey Street. The décor has been updated with a cool tin stamped roof design. I went Christmas Shopping and was able to park on the street where I could see the car through the window. A nice relaxing place with a good variety of sandwich & dessert offerings. I’ve been there a few times and had the Club and the Beef Dip Sandwich. I liked the macaroni salad which I don’t each just anywhere.

This was such a great discovery when I was driving in such a bad neighborhood. They have a lot of food choices and some healthy options like tea, whole wheat or fruit sides. The café is large with an European vibe and their food is good. I wish they had more healthy options so I could come back more often(egg whites, beaters or stevia) even Starbucks offer this. Also, they should have more bakery/pastry options so people don’t go to blocks away to Starbucks. Their Chai Tea Latter is great and so is their coffee. I had the breakfast panini with ham and eggs and it tasted fresh. If you don’t like butter in our bread make sure you tell them our they will pretty much dip your bread in butter. They offer hash browns or fruit for our side. Their prices might be a little higher than the average café. 1 panini, 1 regular coffee, 1 tea, 1 chai tea latter was $ 23

This place is fantastic! We spent four days in California and by far, this is the best place we ate at. Normally you’d have to go to one place for excellent coffee, and a whole different place for excellent food, but Russo’s has both, combined with beautiful ambiance, fast and friendly service, and great pricing. If we lived closer, we’d be here everyday. Also has DELICIOUS options for Gluten-Free and vegetarian. We’ll definitely be stopping here again next time we’re in California!!!
