Woke up to find blood on the sheets, searched for the source and found BED BUGS! For health and sanitation reasons this place i’m rating this low. Also the room feels cramped. On the plus side, the owners are friendly and the property is unique

Great little motel, sweet lady at the front desk gave us a larger room just because. Perfect location to visit historical spots in the area, 25 min drive to Calico or Bagdad café (maybe not historical but on our to do list). We even walked the .8 mile over the bridge to the Harvey house. At a little over $ 50 a night we couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

I love this motel!
It’s really cheap (45 $ a night), it’s clean, there is free wifi + Tv & HBO, à fridge and a micro-wave, the bed is round, it’s kitsch and so nice.
The owners are lovely persons, really. Each time I go to Barstow, I’m glad to come back in there and see them.

Stopped here on my way home to Nor Cal. found to be a great and reasonable place to stay since every other place was booked. Clean room, hot water and friendly front desk staff. Liked the fact that the room had a round king size bed. Will definitely stop by here again when i am going through the area
