Denny’s

Getting coffee is a good thing … Shift change sucks… You get ignored ! Hey are too busy getting ready to go home to finish taking care of you … Around 6am I am speaking

Over the river and through the woods! Even on Christmas morning, this place was wonderful. Friendly staff, clean tables and booths, fast fresh food.

Very disappointed in this Denny’s. We went with the family today after church. Surprisingly it wasn’t overly busy, which should have been a clue about the kind of experience we were going to have. The waitress seemed frazzled and overwhelmed. I don’t know how many tables she had but I kinda felt bad for her since she’s a single mother of 2. Our drink order was taken promptly, but we didn’t get any silverware for a few mins, which was needed to stir my coffee. We placed our food order quickly and then waited about 30 mins for the food to come out. Our food came out in waves. First two meals came — which were breakfast skillets. They were good but you could tell they had been sitting for a while before being brought out. Then about five mins later another wave of food came for two more people at our table. One of those orders were for 2 eggs and pancakes. Only one egg came out and the pancakes were undercooked and bland. They literally had no flavor. These pancakes were for my grandfather who is the extreme opposite of a picky eater. He could not eat them. They were so bad he didn’t even want them remade. Then finally my husbands food came out a couple mins later. He ordered the lumberjack. They only brought him half his meal. They forgot to bring him his ham and pancakes. This is his favorite at Denny’s. He didn’t really eat his, instead he finished my Santa Fe Skillet. Which tasted good but upset both of our stomachs. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place. Maybe they were having a bad day. Maybe this is typical for them. I don’t know. All I know is I don’t think I want to risk going there again.

Great place! I’ve been to quite a few Denny’s in my days and this one is pretty good.
The food came out hot, and quick too! The waitress was attentive and my drink stayed full the entire visit. A big plus in my book.
I will, be back next time I’m in Bartow.
