I have had many pieces of jewelry sized or repaired here. Their work is always exceptional. Then I had a set of wedding rings designed, and they turned out better than I could have imagined. They stand behind their work and assure your happiness with everything they do. I would recommend them highly for any type of jewelry or repair from simple to complex. Oh, and their prices are reasonable, too!

We happened upon this place while roaming through little downtown Bastrop. Here in this tiny, cluttered shop you will meet Chris, owner, jeweler and chatterbox. He’ll show you around, tell you about his family’s history in mining, the places where they source jewels, the appearance of their products on QVC, and so forth. He will tell you about the gems and their cuts: take a look at the Lone Star cut(it looks like a star is literally cut into the gemstone; very unusual!) I ended up purchasing a Burmese ruby ring for a very reasonable price. Would definitely visit again when I am in the Austin area! There is so much variety, you’ll find something for everyone.

I took seven gold hearts to be placed on a gold bracelet at a tiny jewelry store on Main Street in Bastrop. The price was reasonable for 30 minutes work, but I assumed the hearts would be evenly spaced. I thought that was a no-brainer. Wrong! Never assume! …then there’s the size of the rings used.

Great shop, lots of variety. I was looking for a gift for my wife and came across an ammonite fossil(it is her trademark). They bound it in silver, and made it into a necklace. Perfect gift. My wife wears it frequently. Just a dumb luck thing that I ran into this shop. I’ve bought other things since, of course.

What a cool little shop on Main Street Bastrop! The selection of gemstones here is outta this world! The owner is so interesting and fun to talk to! And, OMG, the tarantulas are def worth stopping in and interacting with! A must stop when visiting the downtown Bastrop drag!

Great little shop. Very friendly fellow. Chris was one of the first people I met when we moved to Bastrop. We were just walking down Main and he chatted us up for a while and gave all sorts of good tips on the town. Later I took a ring that needed repairs to him and they did a great job fixing it. He stayed late to make sure that it was done correctly and well. I will definitely go back and do more business with him. Highly recommend them.
