My fav of the FedEX locations in the area — due to their fast and friendly service. My only suggestion would be for them to add automatic sliding doors. I drop off prepaid packages and it is a hassle to open the doors while balancing them!

After seven failed attempts to fax a mission-​critical document from the newer, fancier FedEx down the street (on Randall Road in St. Charles), I decided to drive to this one to see if I had any more luck. I was greeted warmly by a young man working the counter when I entered, and was a bit surprised to see he was the only one working, as the St. Charles store had nearly eight employees, none of whom bothered to say hello when I entered. So already, this store was earning some brownie points.
I was also a bit surprised when the young man pointed to an older fax machine that wasn’t rigged up to a credit card machine. You see, when I attempted my seven faxes at the St. Charles store, I had to put a credit card into a machine before I could even dial the fax number; it was completely self-​automated and electronic. The fax machine at the Batavia location, however, was a standard fax machine that I stuck my piece of paper into, dialed the number, and it printed out a confirmation page which I then took to the young man and rendered payment. You might read this and think, «yeah, but wouldn’t you rather new and updated technology?» to which I would respond, «give me a fax machine that works and I infinitely prefer it.» Because yes, it took just one try on the older fax machine to successfully transmit my document compared to seven failed attempts at the other store. And best of all, I was able to pay cash, because who really wants a $ 1.49 charge on their credit card anyway?
I didn’t stay in the store long, but it appeared to have everything necessary for your basic copy, fax and shipping needs, and it was considerably quieter than the St. Charles store should you be using it as a workstation. I think $ 1.49 to send a fax is a bit steep, so I knock points off there, but if given the choice between the two stores, I think I’ll drive further to go to this one.
