I have eaten at Sunny’s quite often and the food is always excellent. I would say if you are looking for a place to try outside of Buffalo or Rochester it would be worth the drive to Batavia to see for yourself. The Risotto is always excellent but I also have really liked the Chicken parm there. French Onion soup is very tasty there as a starter. Friendly staff and bartenders everytime I have been there and the owners are as nice as they come.

I just had THE worst service in my whole entire life. Jamie M was our server and she can go to hell. She failed to greet our table for 10 minutes, was unaware of the restaurants beers, and was extremely rude during our whole dinner. She didn’t check on us once during the whole meal, failed to ask us if we needed anything, and rudely threw the credit card slip down at the end of our neal. We will NEVER come back to this restaurant again, which is too bad because the food was wonderful.

I took my boyfriend here a few days ago for his birthday. Neither of us had ever been here, but I had heard it was a good place. I was not disappointed! The service was great for one. They have glasses of ice water on the table when you sit down. I always like that at restaurants. After we ordered, the waitress brought us each a fresh roll and butter, and a plate with cheese, salami, peppers, and lettuce. He ordered the New York steak, with a baked potato and chicken noodle soup. I had the pasta carbonara and broccoli cheddar soup. Everything was fantastic. The portion sizes were great! Mostly Italian food on the menu. It really struck me as a date night kind of place. Unless, you just want a drink. Neither of us drink but the bar looked nice and the service here was great. Our waitress was very attentive. I spent $ 50 here. Tip included. It was well worth it and we can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in here to have the Fish Fry while in Batavia on business. I grew up a couple hours east of here and went to Fish Fry’s on Fridays with my parents often. Was looking forward to re-visiting that experience. I was not disappointed! They still use real haddock which these days is getting harder to find. It was fried to perfection, and of course had to have French fries and Cole slaw. Fries were good and the slaw was excellent. if your in the area or passing through it is well worth it. It’s always on the menu not just on Fridays and if you want to be a little healthier you can get it broiled as well. Oh and the drinks are very well poured as well. I may go back tonight and try something else the rest of the menu looks interesting.

Had dinner here and was totally pleased. Nice atmosphere & very attentive server. Their *specialty* drink menu was very good. I enjoyed a Salty Pretzel Martini and would order one again. We both had the *famous* fish fry. And now I know why it’s dubbed that. A huge piece of fish, so lightly breaded(almost like a tempura) and crispy that putting tartar sauce on it would be a shame. Garlic mashed were excellent. A complimentary antipasto was given prior to the appetizer course. My friend really liked the soup of Greens & Beans. A mixed greens salad was just enough to leave room for my fish. This is definity a place to go for that sought after Friday night fish fry. or as a takeout as many people came for their fish fry pick ups as we sat and enjoyed ours.

Sunny’s is your typical Italian spot. I go there and order plates upon plates of the clams casino — so good.

Holy over pricing! Food is mediocre at best. Their specialties are more like special ed. Since when does chicken francese taste like french toast? Absolutely awful, and way too overpriced for how bad it is. Do not go
