A freaking awesome BBQ and burgers kinda grill. Beer, too! Looks to be big with the locals, and the cook knows all his regulars — very nice environment.
I had a BBQ burger, which amounts to a burger with Kansas City BBQ brisket on the top. It was pretty much exactly what I wanted, right then. Especially considering how dire this particular strip of I-70 is for food, PLEASE stop here. You will not regret it.

We moved to the Bates City area in Feb 2011 and always drove past the small «50’s» style diner in Bates City. They always seemed to have buissness but were packed on Thursday nights we noticed. Turns out they have All You Can Eat Taco’s on Thursdays. We finally got around to eating there on a Sunday morning, They have a breakfast buffet on weekends that has cheese scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties & links, pancakes, B&G, and O’Brian potatoes. They have become a Sunday tradition for my wife & me when I’m in town.
Great nastalga of the 50’s. Great food. Great company.
