Andi is fantastic! I won’t have any other therapist touch me now that I’ve found someone who but just knows what she’s doing, but is genuinely mastering her craft. Her passion for healing and wellness is evident as she offers several specialty type massages and utilizes a variety of resources to provide wellness, such as: teas, therapeutic grade essential oils, guided meditation, and plans to offer more now that she’s located on Justice Blvd. off of Sherwood Forest. She’s the only therapist I will recommend to people in the Baton Rouge area; I even carry her business cards in my wallet to refer new customers. New customers even get $ 5 off their first massage, and after your 6th, you get a free oil defuser and mug! Biossage really is THAT good!!!

I am a long-time recipient of massages for medical issues. I have been to plenty of massage therapists in the Baton Rouge area, some good, most not so great and it’s a pleasure to say that I believe I have discovered the best in the city at Biossage. The new owner and massage therapist Andrea Perry is, simply put, one of the most empathetic, knowledgeable, and compassionate people I’ve ever met. The company’s policies and prices are clearly stated, making an appointment is very easy(and convenient with their online option!), the facilities are comfortable and clean, and the hours are very convenient as well. While the prices might be higher than some of the other massage places that have popped up in Baton Rouge recently, I have to say that with massage(like so many other things) you get what you pay for. If you want an hour of some barely-out-of-school practitioner pounding on your muscles until you’re a quivering bowl of jello, then whip out your $ 40 and go to some fly-by-night place. But if you want a massage done by a massage therapist who is thoroughly versed in the most up-to-date techniques and more advanced medical therapies, then the experience is well worth the price. Know, too, that I have paid more for similar massages, so the price is not astronomical or exceptionally high.

lets see where to start I suffer from nerve damage in both legs and have never had relief but with that said I signed up for a 90 min massage with Andrea and as she worked I could feel the pain slowly start to ebb and by the time she was done it was mostly all gone, she then noticed my congestion from really bad sinus problems and went to work on that also by the time I left I felt like a new man, as far as price they are exceptionally fair with price ranges fro most pockets, as their name states Biossage Massage for Life and I will not use anyone else thank you so much

Horrible place. I went to the trouble to register on the website that schedules their appointments. Then talked with the massage therapist, Babette deBarros, on the phone. After speaking with her about my medical conditions and that I would benefit from a specific type of massage that she specializes in, she proceeded to sell me other types of massage services that I did not want. I tried being nice as possible with her. I have a specific medical condition that won’t allow me to know if I can make an appointment until I wake up the same day as my appointment so I make afternoon appointments. I had scheduled an afternoon appointment with Babette, but when I woke up that day,(and it was 7:30 a.m. in the morning) I realized I wasn’t going to make my appointment so I called to reschedule. She got upset with me then proceeded to demand I pay $ 45.00 to her for cancelling. She put me on hold when we were on the phone, just to answer another call which she said was another client that might want my appointment slot. When she came back to our call, she stated they didn’t want my appointment time because they had already made other arrangements. This is why she charged me the $ 45.00. Instead of her being understanding towards my situation, she only and merely wanted compensation for doing NOTHING. So I mailed her $ 45.00 for no service at all. As an after thought, I shouldn’t have sent her anything because there was no service rendered. Clients beware this massage therapist, Babette who runs this business will try to sell you services you don’t want, and if you try to reschedule, she WILL charge you $ 45.00 even though there was no service rendered. I will not be using this service ever. There are plenty other massage therapists in town who do the same type massage she provides and they don’t charge if you reschedule. They are also accomodating to your needs where this massage business is not.
