Do NOT go to this place if you are black. I’m not one to bring up the race card on a regular… BUT! My boyfriend was denied entry for wearing a dashiki! When he asked why, they didn’t have an answer. They just didn’t want anyone with a dashiki on in their establishment. This act can only be taken offensively. What exactly do they think it is? It’s nothing more than culture, heritage, a fashion statement. Do me a favor and save yourself the disappointment; they would probably love it if they didn’t have to see black people at all. Super sad! I’ll pass next time I visit home.

If I could give a ZERO, I would. The bouncer told me completely inappropriately racial slurs. If I could have found the owner, I would’ve made she the«Timothy» person was fired and reprimanded. I will NEVER spend a dollar at this racist establishment. Beyond mortified.

They serve food here? I didn’t see a menu. Didn’t really care for the beer selection, although I did get my fill of Abita Andygator, which isn’t saying much. They had a live band doing a karaōke contest. There was a guy who sang a Weezer song and then later a Gin Blossom’s song. That guy had the greatest energy. He really powered things up. BATONROUGEDARTCRITIQUE #3: Dartboards. Old style, with chalk, not electronic. Asked for darts but they didn’t have a complete set. Terrible. Bring your own darts.

This is always our go to bar when going out downtown. They always have live music, sometimes good sometimes bad. All music sounds good when you’ve had the right amount to drink. They have the three big things: 1) No cover 2) Reasonably priced drinks and 3) Good bartenders. However the absolute number one thing we have been able to find here that we can’t find at other bars is FLAMINGDRPEPPERS!!! If you are the right person they even put on a show. BTW — Ride the elevator at your own risk. The town of terror got nothing on this one.

Blonde bartender working 7÷8÷15 was terribly rude after charging my card twice and making my drink wrong. Manager was amazing though. They should probably just do a better job of hiring nicer bartenders.

Love this place, at one point, it was a weekly hangout for my roommates and I. Wonderful, friendly staff… and as always the drinks are priced right and fairly stout!

One of my favorite places to hang out in Baton Rouge. They always have good bands playing downstairs and I love hanging out on the upstairs balcony overlooking 3rd street.

I found this place to be a mix-bowl of everything. As it should be. Ages probably ranged from 25 – 40. Staff was nice. Drinks were priced appropriately. The place itself is just interesting to look at. Certainly will be back again.

B&T is a strange place. It’s a themed bar so it seems like a tourist trap, but this is Baton Rouge and we have no tourists so it isn’t. B&T has two separate bars. An downstairs bar and an upstairs bar with a balcony. They are so completely different that it seems like they are being run by separate companies. The downstairs bar, I tend to never go to. They will either have a band or a dj and it gets pretty«clubby» down there. It usually has a pretty large crowd. I haven’t spent much time down here so that’s all I’m going to say about it. The upstairs bar is way more chill. It’s pretty small and they have a jukebox. The bar is small and you can usually get a drink pretty quick because they aren’t super busy. But the best part about B&T is the balcony. It’s really the only reason I would ever come here. It’s why I’m giving them three stars. It’s a pretty nice balcony and a great place to have a drink. If you come here I highly suggest the upstairs bar. You will have a decent enough time.

Dull, no smoking, shitty overall layout.

Customer no service. The bartender had a crappy attitude and, by the way, «doesn’t come out from behind the bar.» They didn’t have the advertised«happy hour» special, and other requested items. An all around poor experience.

For as dead as downtown Baton Rouge can be at times, Boudreaux(Boo-Dros) & Thibodeauxs(Ti-Bid-Doughs) can be one of the more lively nightlife venues during the weekend. With it’s excellent outdoor space and multilevel seating, it’s a more than ideal spot for folks who just want to chill out and drink, or even for folks who feel like grabbing a bite in the heart of one of the more fascinating cities in Louisiana. It might feel a tad spendy throwing down $ 8 – 10 drinks in Baton Rouge, even during their highly touted Happy Hour. The Louisiana Nights cocktail(Effren Vodka, lime + syrup) is tasty, as is their Ponchatoula Cooler, a fruity concoction of strawberries, vodka, and some oranges, best enjoyed during the muggy summer months. Most of the time I just see people throwing back endless buckets of beer here. All while surveying whatever live band they might have scheduled, a bit reminiscent of Chelsea’s( ) whenever they’re sporting the live entertainment. It can get crowded on the weekends, but their weeknights are usually when it’s the most laid back(and most ideal). Though it doubles as a restaurant, the food is average at best. A majority of it is bar food, appetizers and little bites, all sprinkled with bits of Louisiana’s finest local cuisine. Their fried green tomatoes were always a tad dry for me, as well as the boudin balls. The gumbo on the other hand is solid, and the Boudreaux tots(taters + blue cheese) are the perfect junk food to curb back the drinks. Louisianans love their food and their drinks, I would only choose B&T’s for the latter. A driver to get me home would be nice too.

We’re in the freakin’ Louisiana. I thought every town would be a ragin’ party. So, I’m always taken aback by how dead downtown BR is. They have one street which has a few bars, and that’s about it: enter Boudreaux & Thibodeaux. We were drawn in by the live music downstairs(some sorta southern music I wasn’t feelin’), and then took a very rachety olé elevator upstairs to another bar which had some rap blaring from a juke box. The upstairs bar was more mystyle, but it was: * WAY too loud * No one was dancing * And it was a little boring We ended up getting a round, but once all our friends were convened we elected to move on.

Restaurant by day, bar/live music by night. Nice to have drinks and hang with friends. Downtown and cheap drinks. No cover last time I checked.
