The donuts are delicious! What’s even better, is the service. They are so friendly and helpful. Quite a few times I have walked in at 5:30 a.m. and they are more than wiling to accommodate a large order for the office. I always get extra donut holes too!

Really good! Only tried the donut holes(they had just come out fresh from the back), and the maple and chocolate Old Fashioned ones. I’ve heard the blueberry cake are supposed to be awesome. $ 5 minimum credit card payments FYI

The donuts are great — the dough is very light. Plus they have awesome old fashion donuts. I looooove old fashion donuts.

This is so close to my house that the temptation is real on a daily basis. Especially when I pull in to go to Smoothie King and I have to summon every bit of willpower I have not to go to Ed’s Donuts. First of all, Ed could not be nicer. He always has a smile on his face and every time I’ve gone in to purchase donuts for work meetings, he’s helped me out with a volume discount. Most importantly, the product is DELICIOUS. There’s quite a bit of variety — several different cake donuts, cinnamon rolls, regular glazed with and without icing, my favorite — the apple fritter, and then kolaches and breakfast tacos. Everything I’ve ever tried has been well worth the calorie and sugar binge. In short, Ed’s Donuts — 1, my willpower — 0. If you live in the Essen area, go support this local business!

I know four stars for a donut place could be over kill, but Essen Lane has needed a donut place for sometime now. If there was ever one over here, in the last 9 years I haven’t known. I met Mr. Ed, love the name, and he was cheery and friendly as I would expect from a donut shop owner. The selection looked really nice, and the prices were on point. I picked up a dozen donut holes and glazed and was out the door. The entire 4 minute experience set me back $ 7.90 with a handful of sweet goodness. P. S. I seen they serve Thai food for lunch. Some may wonder, why? I say, «why not!»

The employees are incredibly nice and appreciative. The jalapeño/cheese sausage kolache is the best I’ve had. The only knock for me is that they only have 2 kolache options, but it IS called Ed’s Donuts, so I can’t complain there. I also had the sweet and sour chicken combo for lunch one day. It was very good. Huge portion, good fried rice, and it was only $ 8.00. I’m not a donut person, but all my coworkers say they’re great. They also have king cakes. It’s been quick every time I’ve gone, especially to grab a quick breakfast before work. Everyone should definitely give it a shot, it’s a nice change of pace for the Essen/Perkins area
