Friends call this place«Fat Wraps» and with good reason. It’s amazing how they pack so much lettuce and veggies into these wraps without splitting the bread in half. Well worth your money, a very healthy lunch option, and you’ll always leave full. The service is prompt and friendly and we love joking with the staff about their meticulous, almost obsessive, wrap-rolling skills. Will be back next time I’m downtown for lunchtime. Only wish they stayed open later so that I can order then during happy hour.

«It’s fresh and packed with oh so much green». Wraps and salads bursting with so much flavor; so intense that I forgot I was eating something nutrition-packed. Like their other location, I enjoyed the Brickhouse salad, which was packed to the brim in a to-go box. This is located in the Main Street Market, which is open on weekdays and on Saturdays for the Farmer’s Market. They get it right for me each time and I still cannot finish the whole box. If you are looking for a healthy twist to your lunch, make sure you visit FreshJunkie and you will not be disappointed. Though I am not always a fan of wraps, I still encourage others to try them.

I hate giving 3 star reviews as they usually mean I respect the business and don’t want to hurt feelings but essentially am not a big fan. I know that this place is raved over due to their incredibly fresh ingredients used, and I get that and do respect that. I just struggle over the price mostly and honestly the customer service. I’ve also never gotten much of a friendly vibe from the two guy workers I’ve seen, but hey, I’ve only been there twice so who’s to say they don’t warm up to you? I just tend to prefer workers that are smiling, greet you when you walk up, etc., and neither time were they doing that, not that they were rude, just that they weren’t up to par with me(who personally has a long history working in the restaurant industry). I won’t lie though and say I didn’t enjoy the wraps I’ve tried. Every one of them has been delicious and popping with natural flavors. The prices though deter me from choosing the likely lesser quality but honestly just as delicious Roly Poly, which is also downtown now. I’ve had co-workers tell me that Fresh Junkie has gone up on their prices too, so I’m wondering what that’s all about. I also think Matherne’s is going to put a dent in their salad biz as Matherne’s is a make your own salad bar, which to me has much greater appeal than a steeply priced $ 7 salad or $ 9 if you add meat(with the same prices applying to the wraps). Not saying that I won’t return to give it another chance, just saying that Fresh Junkie wouldn’t be my first choice. Better luck winning me over next time, Fresh Junkie.

Upside: 1) the thai salad I had was very tasty! 2) the staff were very friendly and professional! Downside: 1) granted, I ordered my salad to be delivered during the lunch rush(my bad!) BUT it took an hour to get the salad. Not good if you have blood sugar issues. 2) When I ordered extra dressing, I pictured in my head that it would be on the side. It wasn’t– so my salad was soggy, oily, high calorie and… floating around in too much dressing. I couldn’t eat the last ¼th of the salad at the bottom of the box because it was a complete mess. 3) I couldn’t taste the cilantro and I cut my finger on the staple in the bag(also my bad)— I wasn’t expecting there to be a staple and the staple got shoved down in between one of my fingernails and the meat underneath the nail. YOW! Upside again: 1) there was no delivery fee !! SO I was able to tip my delivery guy an extra dollar or so. 2) My order was right: The salad came exactly as I ordered it online– even the extra edamame was there. 3) Despite the dressing debacle, I got enough to eat and enjoyed what I was able to eat.

Salad and wraps done very well, ingredients truly fresh. Friendly people taking care of you. 4-plus stars, just felt a little odd to give a salad and wrap place 5 stars.

Love the Rocket. I order it every time instead of trying other options. Close to $ 10 by the time you add the smart water. Great for a quick lunch that won’t leave you feeling stuffed like some other downtown options.

Terrific salads with fresh ingredients! I always eat at Fresh at least once a week(I work downtown). I have tried basically everything on the menu at least once and have to say that«The Sensation» and the«The Spinach» are my favorite salads. From talking with the staff members, I have discovered that«The Rocket» and«Spinach» salads have the healthier salad dressing options for those concerned with such things. I have to strongly advise against the wraps. The actual wrap itself is one of the few things at this joint that does not look or taste like it is high quality. Just go with the salad and save yourself the extra carbs. The regular staff members are amazing people so go ahead and chat them up while waiting for the salad. Check it out.

I love their wraps & salads. The brickhouse is my favorite for the moment. while everything about their freshness appeals to my senses, the only thing I wish they’d do is offer to warm the wrap before adding the ingredients. It’d make the whole experience 1,000x’s better. Still I’ll eat Fresh as often as possible & I’m really glad they now have a food truck.

Ok, I am going to update me review — not something I do too often! Since it has been my resolve to get a Salad EVERY day for a month for lunch, it was clear I don’t have much of an option, except tot visit this place. let me just say this — I think it has grown on me! I see them everyday, they see me everyday — we have just reached truce! Let me be clear. I have realized I like just one salad here! The spinach salad. that too when the blonde girl makes it, and not when the weird guy makes it! :p I know. I can be biased, but I experimented, with all different factors for almost 2 weeks and I have made the decision that the girl with blonde hair is definitely a better salad maker! :p She will talk too, without giving me sour looks, which I appreciate, lol. The Spinach salad is real good. get it the way I get — no walnuts, no chicken and extra onions! :) And since it is so good, one star up, the other star is for the Blonde girl and her salad making skills. lol! :p Oh and people from my workplace love the southwest Ceaser too!

Brickhouse is my favorite in a Salad or Wrap. You can go to the website and look at the toppings. You can get Pasta here instead of salad. Just pick a salad and substitute pasta. They make a good Mediterraean also. The salad comes in a Asian«To-go» box and you can eat on a park bench outside or there are plenty of tables in the market.

Fresh Salads & Wraps is located in the Main Street Market building downtown. The Main Street Market building functions almost like a food court. The stores are nothing more than a counter to order your food. Then you eat in an area shared by all the businesses. Fun concept. This place holds strongly to its name — they truly make only wraps and salads. There are only two wraps, so really salads are the core of their business. The experience goes something like this: choose the size of your salad(S-M-L) and if you want chicken on it. That alone determines the price. Then you choose from one of 10 or so salad choices. Some are romaine-based, some spring mix, some iceberg. Each is topped with a dressing appropriate for the salad. I got a Mediterranean salad — Mixed greens, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, pine nuts & chicken covered in Greek dressing. You order at one end, watch your salad get made in a metal bowl, and pay at the opposite end. After the salad is all made up, they stuff it into a Chinese food box and send you on your way. Its kind of unceremonious for such a nice salad. Admittedly, eating compressed salad out of a box was fun. The lettuce was like clowns in a tiny car– every time I ate some, more surfaced. Unfortunately, there seems to be a communication breakdown between one end and the other. I clearly ordered a medium salad yet was charged for a large. The price difference is significant — I only realized once I had sat down. They should find a way to work on this, as I’m sure it isn’t an isolated incident. Just make sure your total is accurate. My salad was absolutely delicious albeit pricey at around $ 9.50. I’ll be back if I’m in the area and looking for something leafy.
