Lane Bryant

So this is the thing about Lane Bryant as a whole. The quality for the price does not balance out. Even the sales are not all that amazing. So that is the corporation review, now for the location.
The sales people are most likely encouraged to be super aggressive and put on that super sales phony I wanna be your friend thing. It comes off as creepy to me. I did find a salesperson I was direct with about the creepy factor and she dialed it down immediately. Ebony was super helpful after that without being clingy and really impressed me. She asked me real questions about my favorite style, color and did I prefer pants or dresses. Trouble is Ebony can’t be there every day. And as much as I tried to let the people know on 2 other visits I did not like the phony friend factor or being called «Mad-​Dame’ «they still fell flat of any real interest in helping me.
There was also that thing about the dressing room and the serious lack of vacuuming. Sure I took the picture but maybe they just are having issues with the vacuum so I will keep the photo and revisit later in hopes in was an anomaly.
The three stars are all for Ebony (and really she deserves 5 but other things are in play here). I am going to call next time I see a tempting sale or item I might want and make sure she is there. Cause I am of a certain size after all and Lane Bryant tries to cater to me. Now if the designers could just stop it with the horizontal stripes thing and the big flowers I might find more I would be willing to overpay for.
