Drinks 4 star with the Cinco De Mayo $ 5 Sauza Rita really hitting the spot. I usually never like frozen but these were really good. Perfect blend of sweet, tart and tequila. Food more in the two star range however. Service was solid, atmosphere fine. Not sure how much we will visit due to there being quite a few Mexican joints in town. Good location right off 10 and Highland.

Meeting up for a dinner with one of the gal pals is super easy in a Mexican restaurant! Who doesn’t love chips and salsa? Our server was exceptionally nice. His accent was strong so it was difficult to understand him at first. I ordered the shrimp bravo plate. It had 8BBQ shrimp with rice and roasted veggies. The veggies were good. The rice was kinda hard due to the sizzling hot plate.(So hot! Like it took a while for the good to cool). The shrimp was decent. Overall I wasn’t too impressed with the meal. Luckily I had an awesome friend to enjoy the meal with!

My daughter and I just left lunch. I’m not too excited about the food. My daughter and I had White Queso dip and chicken and beef fajitas. Not special. I am offended by the waitress. It was like we were a second thought. Radha is a terrible waitress! My daughter needed a box, however Radha was too busy chatting with a male co-worker to even bother with us. We walked out and no one even noticed. Terrible customer service

Was a disappointment. I ordered the lite tacos. The tacos were fine but the guacamole was brown and had no flavor. It look like it had been there awhile. My son order the fish tacos, which our waitress said were popular. The fish tasted like it needed to be tossed out. I would not return.

Their chips and salsa are great. Couldn’t stop eating them. I had veggie fajitas. Guacamole was fresh and tasty, very impressed and will be back. Stopped in for lunch and the service was quick.

I came to this restaurant with my husband and daughter hungry and just wanting something good to eat. After seeing some of the good reviews I decided to try it out. And boy should I have taken a left and gone to Cracker Barrel instead. I loooove Mexican food and this place I think shouldn’t even call themselves a Mexican restaurant. The water tasted like crap, the chicken soup had meat that didn’t even look like chicken and might I add that they give you a big bowl but fill less than half of the bowl. The rice was bland and had no taste to it, the beans left an awful taste in your mouth and were probably the worst beans I have ever tasted in my life and it was just darn right horrible. Trust me on this, for the quality of the food they over price the heck out of everything. Worst experience I’ve had with a Mexican restaurant, I walked out of there wanting something else to get the taste of the beans out of my mouth. Oh and yeah the salsa does taste like they put tomato sauce in a small bowl.

Good food, however long wait to be seated as well as to take our order. Long wait to get bill as well as asked several times to be given a take home box for left over food! Pat T.

I gauge my Mexican restaurants on three things: Chips & Salsa, Quesadillas, & Margaritas. Las Palmas definitely passes the test on these. It’s not very authentic in terms of many of their dishes as it is a very commercialized restaurant but it is still actually pretty good. I do recommend them just don’t expect top quality mexican food. They have great prices

Mediocre at best. Salsa is some thick sludge of tomato sauce with a few onions and jalapeños mixed in. It’s really more like a sauce. We split an order of mixed fajitas. They were served hot sizzling on the cast iron. Onions and Peppers were very overcooked. Beef was stringy but the chicken was good. I’m not planning a return visit.

It has a great location. The food is ok, nothing great. The service is fast and friendly. It is a place I will go to again, but will not rush to it.

The salsa is rocking. Nice waiter explained to me the seasonal changes of the jalapeño. It’s got a nice thick texture with plenty of spice behind it. The jalapeños they got in this week are on the spicy end, so if you enjoy a good kick, get it while the gettin’ is good!

Las Palmas is a very mediocre Mexican place. It’s ok, but nothing particularly stands out. The best thing about Las Palmas is that they have several locations, and one is probably close to you. The fajitas are your best bet. I eat here a lot, but mainly just because it is very close. The atmosphere is a bit ridiculous, but the service is good. They do have very good queso. If you get the queso you probably won’t be disappointed.

Very solid Mexican food. The staff is pretty good, too. It’s not always perfect though, so I can’t give it a 4 or 5. I will say that they have the absolute best sauce for their free chips out of any Mexican place I’ve ever eaten!
