This is one of my favorite places for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. This location is my least favorite of the three due to the staff and small space BUT it doesn’t stop me because I love the food so much. You have a lot of options here between choosing the bagel and choosing your sandwich. They also serve soups and other items as well. I recommend the Brooklyn Bomber on honey wheat! It comes with a side of bagel chips and cream cheese that will leave you satisfied all day!

Can you say… YUM!!! The service is always amazing, everything is made perfect, oh and I love the punch card. It definitely gets put to use! Favorite sandwich: Brooklyn bomber on Asiago. Be careful with the bagel chips, they are addicting!

No napkins, No folks, No spoons for taking out! The veggies in the salad is so dirty. I am just wondering if they’ve ever washed. You can see rotten and dirty romaine, mushrooms… The salad makes me sick. I’ll never come back to the store again!

I love this place… I come here almost every weekend. I always get the Brooklyn Bomber with sprouts on an everything bagel — it’s amazing!

My SO absolutely LOVESNY Bagel. So on my last trip to Jennings for work, I stopped on they back in Baton Rouge and bought her a surprise — her favorite, the Brooklyn Bomber on a pesto bagel. And she spoke so highly of it, that I got one for me as well. And I was not disappointed. In fact, I was the opposite of disappointed. It was delicious. It comes with sliced chicken breast, melted Havarti cheese, homemade spicy mayo, and tomatoes. I devoured mine, and I don’t even like tomatoes! That’s how good it was. They also give you an assortment of bagel chips on the side with some veggie cream cheese, and a pickle spear. I also thought the staff was very friendly and helpful, as well as quick. When I arrived with the goodies, she was happy, I was happy, and our stomachs were soon full with deliciousness.

Finally a New York bagel in the area! The inside setup is simple and nice. I liked how they display the bagels on the shelf. Food was great! Love the bagel chips. Also they are open later than the location on Jefferson hwy.

I really do love NY bagel, but the phone etiquette is awful. Regardless if he is «new here and doesn’t know the menu yet.» I got tired of waiting for an answer when I called to place a to go order, and I wasn’t going to wait 20 minutes for an answer do I finally got frustrated and hung up and spent my money elsewhere. So 5 stars for losing a customer. There were several options: hand the phone to someone else. Or maybe I wouldn’t have minded waiting if only the employee was cheerful and perky instead of saying«uh, um, well uh.» I am highly frustrated that when he first picked up the phone it was a very dry, «hello, New York bagel.» And that’s it. No «this is so and so» or «how can I help you.» TISKTISK, NYBC. Shame on you for not training your employees good customer service.

I suggest this location and the Lee Dr. location go to the Jefferson Hwy. location and learn how to make a veggie pizza. It was soggy and when I ask to have it cooked longer, it never is. It seems like they microwave it instead of putting it in the over/broiler. Then to top it off, they wrap it on foil to add to the sogginess. It tastes fine, but doesn’t have that crisp the Jefferson Hwy. location does. It’s just chewy.
