This little oasis of calm and greenery is right down from the Capitol Hilton and directly across the street from PJ’s Coffee & Capital City Grille… Nice mature Live Oaks spread their branches over the benches and offer some nice shade… a little ground fountain is pleasant to listen to as well as look at… Stopped in here after lunch on 5÷13÷14 and just had an enjoyable experience killing some time before having to go back for the second half of CLE I was attending… This would be a great place to enjoy lunch if one was brown bagging it or a cool place to chill with your cup of java from PJ’s… Have seen this place many times but this was my first time realizing it was actually a park… If you’re down around the Lafayette & Convention area of downtown Baton Rouge and have some time to kill or just looking for a place to chill out for awhile give this little oasis a try…
