Bed bugs. Left at 3AM and got a full refund. That’s all you need to know: bed bugs.

I dealt with two front desk employees: 1. an old Indian(I think) lady that was almost unintelligible and did not smile once, and 2. a younger guy that was actually polite. I reserved this hotel with Priceline, and the old lady and the young guy said that they didn’t have my reservation and I’d have to call Priceline myself. A Priceline representative called the hotel, only to have the young guy check the fax machine, where my reservation information had been sitting for hours. What business doesn’t check their fax machine? Why did I have to call someone because they were too stupid/lazy to check their own fax machine? The room was acceptable, until I took a shower later that night. Two out of five towels had red(I desperately hope I’m wrong) blood spots on them. Disgusting!!! I know they didn’t come from me because I checked a clean towel afterward and toweled my body, and I checked again and found no red spots. After that, I was mentally done with the place and everything was gross to me. I did not sleep well in the bed, and the loud ghetto people outside the hotel didn’t help that, either. The free breakfast was also severely disappointing. I planned on maybe staying a second night, but hell no. I will never stay here again.

The hotel room was descent for a budget hotel. The shower pressure was great. The free breakfast was meager. The biggest problem was that when I drove out I saw that what appeared to be the hotel staff had drug the mattress out of a room near mine and were spraying it with a large canister like those used for insecticide. They had taken the cloth bottom of the box springs off and were spraying inside it. I immediately had the opinion that they were spraying for BEDBUGS. I won’t stay here again.

We booked this hotel online due to having to get to NOLA for a funeral at the last minute. NOLA was booked up an overpriced because of Bayou Classic weekend so this was the closest/most affordable room we could find. There was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. This had to be the smallest tub I have ever stood in to shower, the towels were worthless and the 5:45AM wakeup call never came. This hotel is obviously owned by people who dominate the low end hospitality industry. It appeared that they put a fence between this one wing of an older hotel, so they could fly the franchise flag at this place. I would never stay here again.

Can I give less than one star? I came here with a group, two of the rooms had bed bugs and bedsheets covered in other people’s hair which is a huge health issue. The other two rooms already had people booked in them… which is a GIGANTIC safety issue. If they give us other people’s keys who is to say they won’t be giving out the key to my room in the middle of the night when I’m asleep to some crazy person who will think«neat, free laptop» This place sucks. There are tons of other hotels/motels in the area to choose from, we did not stay.
