I loved all of the antiques and refurbished items that are used as décor in this café. The brick floor is awesome. They have lots of wooden doors and cool wooden windows used as room dividers. There is a beautiful staircase that leads upstairs to a law office. The waiters were friendly. We ordered the daily special which was a pig salad… ham and bacon on lettuce with pepper jelly salad dressing and a barbecue wrap. Both were tasty. They offer yummy favored iced teas. This is a cool place to meet a friend for lunch. I went with my hubby. We enjoy visiting new quaint places for lunch. Enjoyed it…

**3.25 stars** The place has a different ambiance that I appreciate. It is nice and spacious, yet it has an old world charm to it(the winding staircase, maybe?) Anyways, The menu is pretty extensive. Love the Greek salad(always get the dressing on the side). The dressing is perfect! Not too creamy, not watery — love it! The Buffalo Sandwich is ok, I do feel sometimes the chicken isn’t very fresh, which is a big turn off! Veggie quesdilla with shrimp — the shrimp was excellent– succulent and perfectly grilled, not a fan of the big pieces of broiled eggplant in my quesdilla — i like eggplant, can you just make it a little more easy to eat, please?! Also it is comes on a corn tortilla, which I am not a fan of, and I don’t remember them specifying on their menu, which is a shame! I would have asked to have a flour one! Paid extra for the shrimp, which I am not happy about, since I did take off a couple of things from the usual quesedilla! The unsweetened mango tea is awesome — my guilt free flavor trip! :p I think I will be back to try some other things too — Maybe they do a better with the other dishes! :)

I’ve only ever been here for coffee. I do love the atmosphere and any place that has soy milk deserves special praise in my book! Love their lattes!

I’ve eaten at The Buzz numerous times and for some reason failed to write a review. It’s not because the food doesn’t deserve praise, let me assure you it does. Today was the perfect example, I ordered online and made a special request and I fully expected to return to my office with something amiss with my order. To my delight everything was perfect, as always. Maybe I have been taking The Buzz for granted. They consistently provide delicious, fresh and affordable food. I have to recommend the Southwest Salad with either the grilled chicken or steak. This salad is wonderful. Fresh romaine lettuce, corn and black beans finished off with chopped red onion, shredded cheddar, crispy tortilla chips and a little cilantro. It’s perfect. The steak is the best but can be a bit on the fatty side while the chicken is good I’m just not that fond of thigh meat. The only change I suggest is to have the red pepper vinaigrette instead of the chipotle ranch dressing. I could drink this stuff it’s so delicious. The service is very good though there can be a bit of a wait during the lunch time rush but the atmosphere will keep your mind off the wait and once the food arrives you will forgive even a lengthy wait.

Formerly Mickey’s Varsity Shop Café, the Buzz Café is a hopping lunch spot and espresso bar. Tasty panini, fresh wraps and generously portioned salads. Friendly servers and baristas. Try the iced tea of the day. The blackberry is the best! Daily specials are usually excellent, especially the soup of the day. A busy lunch spot for downtown businessy types, the Buzz opens at 7:30am for breakfast and closes after lunch at 2:00pm.
