Great place to shop for the little one’s present. They have things you will not find in the big box toy stores. They wrap the presents beautifully at not cost. One great feature if you are in a rush is you can call them give them the age/gender of the child and a price point and they will have the present ready for you to pick up!

Darling little locally-owned toy store in the heart of mid-city. They have a great mix of mainstream & lesser known toys. Maybe you pay a little more but the charm & the beautiful, free wrapping makes up for it!

This is not a toys r u or a big box store… So, come here for safe, fun, colorful, intriguing playthings and collections of toys from reputable toy makers. They have a nice selection of fun activity toys for all ages. Madame Alexander, Corole brand dolls etc. and many unusual items from European manufacturers too. It’s a great place to find something unique in the Baton Rouge area. It’s good to support a local business, and the people who work here are helpful and nice. My children are now grown, but this is still my favorite toy store here. I like the fact that they do gift wrap, too. Even my Mom likes her dog shaped purse that I got her here… And so, it’s a good store for many ages. They carry Steiff«button in ear» stuffed animal collections from Germany. Come here for something extraordinary. Though some have mentioned that this store is small, that’s a boon to a tired shopper who doesn’t want to battle the crowded mall etc. kudos to this family owned business; they care about customer service and will go the extra mile to assist you. The store has rooms organized for easy access, and it is wheelchair friendly.

This is a truly local toy store that has been in business for 30 years! It’s in a victorian house in mid city. They make the most of their small space, so yes, its filled from floor to ceiling with toys and games. Nicely organized into boys, dress up, art, dolls, girls, bath/water, games/animals, baby etc… each has its own space. The prices are high(hence not the 5 stars), but the experience makes up for it if you can afford it. Everyone is so nice. They carry unique things and common things, and they wrap !!! Even at Christmas and they make the prettiest easter baskets in town. I’m always wowed at how they put it together. I’ve seen so many local stores close, this is the only one left. Or else you are left with the dreaded big box stores or online. I do also shop online but I never price check. If they help me pick something out, I buy from them. They don’t have everything but you are sure to have a great experience here.

Victoria’s Toy Station, located on Baton Rouge’s busy Government Street corridor, is a locally owned toy store. Housed within a historic home, the shop is long on charm. It’s full of toys, with each room filled from floor to ceiling. It is a bit on the pricey side(one could find toys cheaper at a big box store or on Amazon) but they do have very unique gifts and they do gift wrapping for free. I do wish they would organize the toys a bit more, possibly by age group and have signs somewhere that indicates age group. Overall, if you are looking for a unique gift and/or don’t have time to wait in line at a big box store or order something from Amazon, Victoria’s Toy Station is a great option.

I enjoy supporting local businesses. The toy store is in an old house. They have toys everywhere! I think the selection for older boys is a little limited, but it’s still got some fun stuff. The staff will wrap your gifts for you. Keep up the good work!
