Zibitz – Extreme Waffles

K. Individually, everything is awesome. Comes out HOT, so watch it. Just don’t do what I did, after finishing my syrup dip, I went to dip in the other, which I thought was also syrup only to find out NOPE NOT SYRUP. It was a different type, vinegary hot sauce. Just caught me off guard. Good stuff tho. Can’t wait to check out the muffuletta.

Got a groupon for the this place after reading a 225 Article about the Establishment opening. We did not expect it to be a tiny kiosk at the mall. The sandwiches all sounded great. Odd thing is that all the food is made with waffle irons. Even the tater tot sides! We ordered an onion and pork club and Cuban. With only one person working, it took 20 min to get our food. The appearance of both sandwiches was great. You could smell the sweetnesses of the waffles. The Cuban was loaded with pulled pork, cheese, pickles and had a sweet mustard. The onion pork club had the same pulled pork, and tangy sauce. We were disappointed with the lack of favor in the waffle itself and that the waffles were limp and soggy. We would go back to try the dessert offerings, but the lack of crispiness took away from our sandwiches.
