Worst delivery service, took over an hour and twenty minutes to get our food. Ordered the churasco steak for my son and had to throw it out, it looked bad and tasted worse. They also forgot to send the beans along with the white rice, also ordered the empanadas which were terrible the ground meat had a strong vinegar taste. I am so disappointed because we use to really love this place.

This place was pretty good. I visited for lunch on Dec 112015. Most the guys I work with our Hispanic. So, I went with a Puerto Rican and Columbian who always talk about their soups. This place is supposed to be Dominican style cooking. Anyway we had a variety of food. One guy had the tripe soup, another had chicken with rice, I had fish and vegetables. All the food was fresh and hot, it’s a variety of choices that you can pick from and the food is like on a serving line. You can see the food and they serve you what you want. You sit they bring the food to you. Great customer service attentive ladies who served us. Nice little spot good food, I would try them again.

Food was great-ordered fish with rice and beans, everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful – they make you feel at home. The restaurant is clean and well-lit, which is a nice change. Would definitely visit again.

Food is decent. Provides much needed variety in bay ridge, but the delivery service is unreliable. They seem to forget my order sometimes. On a couple of occasions I’ve either cancelled my order or called because I waited over an hour.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I was really hungry and buying food for a few people so I was able to try a few things at one time. They have half of the food laying under a heating lamp buffet style and the rest is made in the back in the kitchen. So if you want to run in and quickly grab something you can always get prepared food. I ordered the baked chicken, pernil, rice & beans, avocado salad, chicken empanadas and beef empanadas. I must say that I was honestly pleased with everything. The food is heavily seasoned and thats something that I really like. You can tell that there is plenty of sazon and adobo being used just the way I like! Theres really only one other place I can think of further down in Bay Ridge which is Castillo’s that has food similar to this and I will undoubtfully be making my way up this way to grab food here instead! Definitely recommend!

I ordered the Mofongo with Shrimp and I was disappointed. I am use to the Puertorrican style Mofongo and what I got served was more like Mangu shapes like a Mofongo. The black beans were very taste — I ended up ordering a side of black beans to go. What I did like — the restaurant was very clean and the service was very good. Would go back here anytime.

3.5 stars. I found this place through Unilocal and knew I just had to try it. There was a grade pending sign when I came, but the place looked very clean from what I could see. The food is all set up behind glass windows for you to look and decide. I ordered the pernil with rice and(black beans) and a mofongo de chicharrones(with chicken stew). The pernil was moist, but a tad on the bland side; it went well with the rice and beans though. The beans were flavorful, but more liquid in consistency than I’m used to, but still good. I definitely loved the mofongo de chicharrones and the chicken stew was great with it. They have a good amount of items on their menu, so I don’t think I would ever get tired of them. I have to try their maduros! The staff here is friendly and patient, which is always appreciated. There is another restaurant that is similar to this place in the area, but certainly doesn’t serve up as delicious food. In terms of prices, you get a good portion of good food without breaking the bank. I am so happy to have this lunch or dinner option in the area and will definitely be back!

Everyone greeted me! This place is so clean! I’m from Bushwick so I’ve seen a lot of Spanish Restaurants in my day. Food is delicious. I got my mangu and I’m a happy man! Happy to have this place in Bay Ridge!

The pernil was bland and dry, but I enjoyed the arroz con gandules, empanadas and maduros. I didn’t enjoy the customer service, because the employees were poking fun at a customers lack of Spanish accent. How rude! I think I’ll stick to my original favorite Dominican restaurant in the neighborhood, El Castillo de Jagua.

Excellent Dominican food and for a good price, as good as anything I had when I was in Santo Domingo. I had the chicharron de pollo with white rice and red beans, and we also shared a plate of maduros. Top quality home style cooking, guaranteed to make you happy ! There are not many tables, but thats ok, by the time you are ordering at the counter, one should open up. Very friendly staff, I’ve been back a number of times. Marisol at the counter very friendly and quick to make a joke too. I love this place. and if you live in the area, they deliver.

Friendly people, delicious food. I live nearby so it’s really nice to be able to cross the street and pick up Spanish food. I like the boneless chicharron de pollo and the pork chicharron and the mofongo and just about everything.

Wow! Let’s start off simple! The food is great. Not many tables available but the food does make up for the lack of dinning availability. This is a family owned place, definitely home cooked straight from the heart, tasty Spanish food. We needed this in a Bay Ridge.

I live down the block from this place… absolutely LOVE it! My family and I come here once or twice a month usually, everything is so savory. My favorite is the ensalada de aguacate with rice and black Beans(im vegan so that’s all I can get) but my parents really enjoy everything, the tres leches, macaroni salad, pernil. literally everything. We’ve never had a bad dish from Campo bello. I do wish they offered more vegetarian/vegan options like roasted vegetables but I’ll come here regardless because they’re the bomb dot com. Best Dominican /Spanish Caribbean style food ever.

This is the kinda place that I can’t stop thinking about! The minute I opened the door the delicious smell of spanish cooking smacked me in the face… in the best way. I have long loved Spanish food and this place does a great job! It has all my faves, oxtails, baked chicken, pernil, stews galore! And the best part is the ladies who work there are so friendly and sweet. They were so nice and patient to my two little ones too!

Finally real Spanish food in Bay Ridge! No more having to go to Sunset Park for food. The pork(pernil) and rice & beans are delicious. Try the chicharron and the pastels too! And they deliver!

Fantastic portions for your dollar! Very«meat and potatoes» kind of food — sticks to your ribs, filling, ME-MAN-ME-MEAT meals! Awesome! Nina, who worked the front was a gem. Very friendly, helpful, and sweet. Will be coming back to try more things.

Finally, a legit Spanish place besides Mexican in Bay Ridge. They have everything I want: good moist pernil with crispy skin on top of yellow rice and beans. The sweet plantains and chicharrones were also good. The latter super crispy.
