Lasaka House of Noodles

Bubble Tea:
I don’t go to the Westfield Mall that often, but I get bubble tea almost every time! It’s true, sometimes the tapioca is slightly hard.
If you want to know what hard tapioca’s like, get one from Ssambap and let me know how that goes. (They’re like rocks!)
Food:
I ordered lo mein with teriyaki chicken and string beans. It’s not the best choice for trying to eat healthy with everything cooked in oil. Besides that, Lasaka cooks good string beans! They’re nice and crunchy, not soft and overcooked!

Been going here for over 5 years. The food is great and the customer service is some of the best I’ve ever had. Reccomend to everyone I know. Better then more stand alone Japanese restaurants, outstanding for any food court food. Can’t give them enough praise. Also things ate very reasonably priced! Worth a try.

Food was bland, stale, and cold. Tried to get a refund after taking one bite, but they refused because a bite had been taken. Never again.

THE. WORST. BOBA. TEA. EVER! The boba bubbles were so hard and dry, I lost my appatite!

Lasaka opened up within the last 2 weeks inside the Bay Shore (Westfield) Mall’s food court. It still seems very new because their food is a bit off. As a trial run, I tried their Sweet and Sour Chicken, Shrimp and Onion, and the lo mein noodles instead of the rice. The chicken was pretty good. Nothing too surprising, typical sweet and sour chicken. The noodles were tasty while the shrimp… Well, that’s a different story. The fried shrimp was cold but the onions were warm (huh???) I’m lucky that I got the plate with 2 sides and the meat because I skipped the shrimp and ate the chicken and noodles. They have a good variety of soups and various drinks ranging from fountain soda (Coke) to Snapple.(2 sides, 1 meat and med. soda was about $ 9) Being that this is a new place, I will give this another shot in the future and I will update my review sometime in the future.
