Amore Pizza

I recently started going to Amore Pizza and both the food and service are very good. I especially like the chicken bites, very large juicy pieces of chicken. The part that makes this place exceptional though is the HONEST staff. I had lunch at the restaurant and after leaving, about an hour later I realized I had lost a ten dollar bill. So I called the restaurant thinking there is no way it would be there, but to my surprise one of the young ladies that was working found it and left it with the manager. Unfortunately the young lady that found the money had already left for the day, so I didn’t get to thank her. So if you are in the area and you want some good food for a good price stop in, I think you will love it.

We live nearby and decided to give this place a try. We ordered 2 large pizza special early on a Friday night. I called it in my way and was surprised when it was ready when we arrived since it was about 15 minutes early. When we got home & opened the boxes we were shocked to see pizzas were misshaped and all the cheese slid off of the crust. It was like they were turned sideways and held there for a long time. They tasted like cardboard. We will never be back.

This was my go to place every Friday night but the last yr it has really gone down hill! I decided to give it another try today, wrong move! Motz sticks were cold in the middle my chef salad had a ton of lunch meat but very little of anything else, 2 small cherry tomatoes and a small handful of lettuce. I won’t even mention the 3 day old Gallic bread it speaks for itself!

Delivery order of Calzone and Cheese Steak. Prices were very fair, whole thing with delivery and tip was $ 21. Cheese Steak was above average… added sweet peppers. Sausage Calzone was on the money. Can’t vouch for the pizza, but based on the Calzone I bet it is very good!

Good pizza and the young guys (brothers) who own the place are very nice. We found Amore when the seasonal BBQ place that used to set up across the street was closed one day, and have stopped back many times since.
The thin crust pizza is New York style; very good. I like mine a little wetter than normal. If you ask for a little extra sauce, they will gladly accommodate you.
The salads are very fresh, and are loaded; you’ll get more than just lettuce and a slice of tomato.
The fried seafood is nothing special; open the bag and dump in the fryer. Honestly, sometimes you get tired of pizza during lent.
The cheesesteaks are very tasty, but I wish they offered larger options. Amore’s cheesesteak is a good size for lunch or a small appetite, but if you want to order a couple huge hoagies to feed the family, this isn’t the place.
They have a new item they recently added called «toasties.» Haven’t tried them yet. We’ll have to order a couple and get back to you.

We order from Amore all the time at work. The prices are great and the people are friendly. Today I ordered a wrap for pickup and my coworker didn’t notice it was the wrong order. I called Amore and they sent a new one via delivery driver. Somehow, the order was incorrect (chicken instead of shrimp). The offered to send it again (correctly), and refund the money. While I found it strange that they wanted the sandwich back when they delivered the new one, they were very quick to refund a credit to the account. Even on a bad day (a rarity for them), they still take good care of you to make things right.

Amore is just the best. It’s a local flavor, great prices, and I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. They have great $ 5 deals, and although the food takes some time to make, it is worth the wait.
Their cannoli’s aren’t great, the pizza is delicious but their hot wings are the best. Great selection of sauces too.

I use to like this place a lot. Then came some price hikes. That happens and I dealt with it because the quality was still good. Then I ended up with food poisoning from their mega fries back in 2011. I stopped ordering from amore until today. I decided to try some potato skins. They got the order wrong, and these were the worst looking potato skins I’ve ever seen. Not sure what happened to this place, but tonight’s screwup made me decide to stay away for good.

My wife and I love this place for their sandwiches, value, and location. I usually get one of the chicken rustics and she gets the chicken cheese steak special. All delicious… They’re quick and always on time. Highly recommended!

This location is close to my parents, so we end up eating there out of convenience. I feel like it’s really hit or miss. Sometimes I love the food, and sometimes it’s just okay.
Comparing the pizza to anything in the local area (Papa Johns, dominos), it’s quite good. But judging on the scale of all pizza I’ve every tasted, it’s just average. The school down the road seems to be keeping the place in business, which is good for them.
The service is usually pretty good and they can get the food out quickly.
