Pat’s Pizza

Ordered online and after waiting for an hour and a half for my food decided to cancel. Not very helpful when I followed up an hour after I was waiting as they said it would be there in 5 minutes.
Move on to another place if I were you.

Good wings, good pizza & prolly the Best Stromboli around. & my food gets to my crib in 45mins or less every time

Solid. They definitely exceeded my expectations! Based on the rating and reviews I didn’t expect much and was lined up for a big let down. I am giving them 4 stars because they are a solid pizza joint on their first pass. Delivery was timely and to our door in about thirty minutes give or take and the pizza came hot and as ordered. It was nothing that I’d say was along the line of being gourmet but it was definitely not bad. Id say it was and fit the bill of being quality east coast pizza. Good stuff and I’d easily be okay with giving them another try.
The price wasn’t too competitive though. A large two topping with a personal size drink was $ 20 dollars. A little on the high end considering all of the deals you can find out there with the major chains and a Pizza Hut being right down the way, but it’ll do for the evening. Thanks Pats.

I honesty don’t know why this chain is still in business. Every Pats I’ve tried have THE worst «italian» food ever! (I’ve had better Italian food made by Mexicans.) The meatballs are just balls of unseasoned meat, and their sauce is just a can of tomato paste. Their pizzas are awful, and I can’t see myself giving them another chance. My dog wouldn’t even eat the leftovers, and he eats his own shit!

We have gotten eatable pizza here before but last time it was really bad. I called and was told they had someone new making pizzas. But the attitude was basically «shrug, sorry». The guy said «at least the next time you order you get $ 10 with your points (which was true regardless of the pizza being bad). Figured we’d give them another shot tonight since we had the $ 10 off. Turns out our point «expired» last week. Not worth the aggravation or risk of getting pizza that ends up in the trash.

Food is great but delivery takes an hour to get a mile to my house and the older employees are rude, yet luckily talented with dinner.

I will never step my feet in this place again. It has been a couple years now but I ordered a cheesesteak and French fries, my husband ordered a cheesesteak (the plan was to share the French fries). We both set in the restaurant waiting on our food to be ready. When ready our sandwiches were fine bit our French fries were cold. I carried them up to the counter to see if I could get some hot French fries when the man that cooked the food started yelling at me about how I do this sort of thing every time. He stated that I come there order my food and I leave; I return eat some of the food and then I complain about my food and want my money back. He hollered and screamed like he was crazy. What appeared to be funny to me because he had never seen me before, I don’t live in the area nor do I frequent the area. He was determined that it was me that he sees all the time and this is what I do. I almost called the police. Finally he shut his mouth long enough for me to get my money and leave. The lady that worked there knew we never left the store. I knew if she had of spoke on our behalf, he probably would of fired her or gotten her fired. Personally I had never waliked in that place and I will never walk in there again.

Believe it or not they have the BEST HAMBURGERS in the area. Pizza not bad, wish I could say the same about the cold subs. Skimpy on the meat, delivery tends to be on the slower side.

I’ve been going here for years. In fact I used to work at the one off of basin road. I would have to say that the quality here has got better over the years. When this pats opened up it was really hit or miss. Now they’re pretty consistent, at least with my orders. The only thing I miss is something another Unilocaler posted about. The quality of cheese steaks has went down over the years. This isn’t a specific store issue. They stopped cutting up the cheese into the cheese steak, and just by taste one would guess switched companies for the steak. With that said I still enjoy pats.

I normally love Pats but I normally go to the one on marrow rd in newark. Today I ordered a large garden salad from this location because it was closer to where I was today. My salad was $ 8.99 and it took awhile to get my food due to the girls behind the counter talking and having a good time between themselves not paying attention at all to customers. After finally getting my salad I realize the entire thing was made from giant chunks of lettuce and was bitter tasting. No other vegetables in the garden salad other then 3 – 4 pieces of cucumber and way too much onion. Bad food, bad service and way over priced for what I ordered. From now on I will stick to the Pats on marrows rd. much better service and great food. Shame on you this location of Pats!

The pizza is okay. For the price you can’t complain, but I have yet to find a good pizza place in delaware.

My very first ever cheese steak was at a Pat’s near New Castle. I had just married into the family and had many things to learn about cheese steaks and Italian food. I now feel worldly with my knowledge and can tell a good cheese steak. When the Mom-​in-​law moved to Bear, I was delighted to see Pat’s almost in walking distance and with a delivery service. However, this Pat’s does not live up to the standard. The cheese steaks are OK but they do not have the same great flavor as my first. The staff is OK but does not have the down home feel or friendliness as my first. Maybe it is true, there is just something special about your first. But Pat’s you are related to my first and I would think that you would want to live up to that standard.
