On our way to Houma from Houston and stopped for dinner Great location — right off I-10 Wonderful patio — spacious, lots of heaters, nice fires and lights Fantastic waitresses — loved our pups and were very attentive. Yummy food — fresh, tasty and fresh. Definitely will come here again!

Was recommended by a local, really disappointed in the food. I knew going in it’s weekday menu was limited and that’s fine if the quality is there. That can’t be said for our visit to Luke’s last night. Enjoyed the atmosphere and beer selection, but service was mediocre and food was a total let down.

Ate here for lunch. all the hype was the best burgers in town… well I was disappointed, the burger was extremely dry… As for thr atmosphere you cant beat it! Has the Austin feel. I will give it another chance, but not going out of my way to eat here again.

The atmosphere is unmatched anywhere in SETX. There are themed nights throughout the week– my personal favorite is The Geeks who Drink pop quiz on Tuesdays. The burgers and nachos are great, but the onion rings are my favorite. Brunch is available on the weekend. This is also a dog friendly place.. The downside is that service can be hit or miss.

Came here with a group of friends for some drinks and food. Luckily we grabbed a beer from the bar before sitting down because it took a VERY long time for a waitress to come and take our order. The place has a great atmosphere with lots of space for groups. Good specials on pints and our food was pretty good, but came out a little cold. If you are looking for a laid back place to hangout for a while, then this place is for you.

Though I usually like this place and have frequented often, I sit here watching waitress after waitress pass me by without acknowleding my presence. I thought I left my cloaking device at home. Started writing this review 5 minutes ago and still haven’t had anyone stop by… getting thirsty. .there goes another waitress by without seeing me and there is one talking with her boyfriend and his snake. Oh wait… I think I have been seen… nevermind…I will go somewhere else

Best spot in Beaumont for a beer and a burger. The perfect hangout for an afternoon outside with plenty of seating since they’ve expanded. The tap selection is usually solid as well.

Came for a late night dinner since apparently it has the«best» burgers in town. Tasted like ordinary burgers you’d find in Houston, but it wasn’t bad for the price. It also had a bar and fire pits outside, the back patio was great for larger parties.

A co worker and I came in on a game days so I understand being busy and the waitress even explained that they were training new people and understaffed so I’m sympathetic but it took 20 minutes for anyone to even notice that we were there and as we watch 4 larger parties get served 7 full trays of drinks I finally had to stand up, flag someone down, and ask if we could order. It then took another hour for us to get our food(a pulled pork sandwich and a grilled cheese). The atmosphere was great though, it had a large patio with lots of Tvs to watch the game. It seems like a great place to sit for awhile and watch the game but Not to grab lunch and go.

I haven’t been to all the bars in Beaumont, but I’ll go ahead and vote this one as the best. The location isn’t ideal as there really isn’t anything else of interest nearby(unless you’re hanging at the hospital), but it’s easy access from the freeway and there is plenty of parking, so it works well enough. They definitely need a bigger or better lit sign that advertises it as a bar and patio, as we did drive past it once before circling back. They serve good and affordable drinks with a standard selection of alcohol and a slightly better than usual selection of beers. I can’t speak to the quality of the food, but the fact that they even offer it is a plus. The patio is large but the oversized picnic tables out there really overwhelm the space and make it more difficult to get around than it should be. They have a big wooden Jenga game and a few sets of dominos floating around for entertainment. Overall, it’s a good place to chill in Beaumont.

Luke’s seems to be a pretty popular hangout these days in Beaumont, from what I hear. A lot of friends-of-a-friend work there, so we ended up closing out a recent Saturday night at this establishment. I’d last been here several years ago when it was Easy’s, and it has went from more of a martini bar to a sports bar. The great outside enormous patio remains a pretty awesome place to hang out and hear the music. Drinks are also pretty cheap. Ample parking behind the place. The location isn’t the greatest, and is far from any other form of nightlife. Overall: Mehhh.

Never fails. We come here to meet up with people in the Beaumont area. Worse service. Beers that are listed are never available. Staff working the patio are usually kind, but the girls at the bar are angry and annoyed by customers. After many visits I can officially say this is my last time here. The bartender was bothered by our order and threw my debit card in my direction. As I type this, a server by the name if Steph greeted us and apologized for the bar’s behavior. Hats off the Steph, but come on Luke’s.

Luke’s Beaumont distinguishes itself from its local competition in only two ways: 1) They offer a decent(for Beaumont, at least) and constantly rotating selection of regional/craft beers on tap; and 2) the ice-house format offers indoor seating, but also a section that is covered but open-air, as well as a decent outdoor patio area. The covered and the outdoor patio sections are both cigar-friendly(which is noteworthy due to a lack of similar alternatives nearby) and dog-friendly(which is downright cool if you are a dog owner). Sadly, in all other aspects Luke’s Beaumont just fails to deliver. The menu consists of the standard bar fare: burgers, tacos and fried food. The food is not bad, but there is nothing on the menu that distinguishes itself. To justify the prices on the menu, they really should put more effort into the food. If your goal is just a meal, there are a number of better options in the area. If your goal is to simply get a beer, well, to be blunt, Luke’s Beaumont pretty much sucks at delivering on that front as well. The waitstaff at this place consistently offers some of the poorest service that you will find anywhere outside of a college/fraternity bar. As multiple reviews by others have illustrated, there is an occasional waitress that will actually do her job, but they are a rarity. It is not uncommon for a customer to get ignored for 10 – 20 minutes until a) customer goes to bar and gets his own beer; or b) customer just leaves out of frustration. I have experienced this on a number of occasions, most recently on a quiet rainy Sunday afternoon when the place certainly wasn’t busy and yet I never had a waitress visit my table even once for over an HOUR. As far as I know, Luke’s Beaumont is the only ice-house type of place in Beaumont. I guess that and the beer selection has what has kept them in business thus far. It certainly isn’t the quality of service offered by the employees. I have visited Luke’s Beaumont a number of times since it opened, each time hoping in vain that things would improve, because I really appreciated their cigar– and dog-friendly policies. No more. 4 stars for being cigar-friendly, and being dog-friendly. 3 stars for beer selection. 2 stars for menu offerings and food quality. 1 star for consistently terrible service – this should be a negative number. Overall: 1 star. The service is just that bad. My most recent visit will be my last.

When the place first opened I visited every so often, nice relaxed outdoor atmosphere. I had/have a bartender friend that works here, she’s usually very busy handling customers on the inside, I usually opt for the scenery outside. I usually go for the Luke Burger, a big ½ lbs burger with trimmings. Its very good, however more than I usually care to pay for. I’d be willing to pay for the burger if the service was much nicer. Go to the venue on the weekend nights and just say forget it to good service. The staff usually is nowhere to be seen and if they are they are playing favorites flirting and talking with the guys from the table on the other side throughout the night. Hey I totally get working for your tips but do so in an equitable way. I’m a fair tipper! Also, if you are drinking be prepared for them to request a credit card up front just to start a tab. Insist on paying cash or as you go. My father told me of a story where he was double charged because of their seemingly odd policy. I understand they may get walk offs, but if the servers were more attentive and available I’m sure they wouldn’t have that happen. The following day they did correct the error/charge however didn’t really go above and beyond after the charge was corrected due to the inconvenience. 1 Star for Service, It gets 2 stars because of the burger. Luke’s I know you can do better!
