I tried The Stoppe for the first time for lunch today. The atmosphere was lovely. They had Etta James playing. The service was fast and friendly. The place was clean and cool inside. I ordered the Black Friday to go. ITWASGLORIOUS. Literally like thanksgiving dinner on a sandwich, complete with sweet potato fries and cranberry sauce! It was to die for. I could only finish half. Next time I’ll have to share with a friend. Prices were a bit steep, for a sandwich… But I’d say it was worth the $ 10 I paid. I’ll be back for sure.

I have had the veggie delight three times now and it is YUMMY! The ladies working and making the sandwiches are very friendly! I have referred The Stoppe to my co-workers and they have all enjoyed the food they have gotten from there! Good little place! Try it out!

Had the pastrami and the GF had the turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce. I found both items average taste. Nothing mind blowing. In fact I did think my pastrami had way to much mustard. Fries were good and they served a good Coke.

Ordered lunch yesterday for the first time. Live like a block away and sad I didn’t know about it sooner. I got the veggie sandwich and DH got the black Friday. Both sandwiches were so big we ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner. So glad we found it, we will definitely be back

Disgusting! Everything was covered in so much oil my hand felt like they just got moisturized.

The food is good, but it is to expensive for me. The prices are to much for what you get.

Went to the Stoppe yesterday for an early dinner and man we were not disappointed! My wife had the classic cheeseburger and i got the Walt sandwich and we shared onion rings. First off i was surprised at the size of the Walt, it was huge! So much meat packed into the sandwich i could barely bite it. So delicious! The burger was absolutely delicious as well. All that for $ 9 bucks! Can’t wait to be back. Keep it up the Stoppe!

Phenominal non health food. Best sandwiches and burgers around here. They have healthier food too. I just haven’t tried it. Honorable mention on the Buffalo Bleu burger. Messy, drip off your elbows style burgers. you might need a fork and twenty napkins. fair warning. worth it!

The Stoppe has been around for a while, but recently moved to this new location, which is a much more visible and appealing one. It’s your typical small sandwich shop, it’s clean and well-maintained, but there’s nothing fancy happening here. Service was okay, wasn’t dreadfully slow but wasn’t as quick as I’d expect. I ordered a Oreo milkshake, tater tots, and a burger. I sat and ate the tater tots and milkshake there with my dad, and took the rest of the food to go. I was not impressed with either of those items. The shake was overpriced and slightly watery and bland, the tots were just what you’d expect. I left thinking it would be a three star experience, but the burger saved it! When I got home I dug into the cheeseburger I’d ordered — it didn’t disappoint! One of the absolute best burgers I’ve had in a very long time. It was a single, but they crammed a lot of beef into the one patty. You could tell it was fresh, and they cooked it perfectly — medium well. The toppings all accented the burger well, nothing felt out of place. It was fantastic. I will probably order food from here again, I’ll just skip the sides and milkshakes.

I really love the food here. But, for some reason every time we order something and ask for no cheese on the pastrami they seem to think we don’t want the mustard and pickles as well! My husband feel that a little more sauce on the burgers would be a good idea because they are a little dry!

Under New Management? I came back here after I saw that they were under a new management(I think. The owners look different). SOOOOOOOO much better!!! Food is always fresh and portions are much more bigger now! I get the Black Friday and OMG… I can eat that all day everyday. Their Tom Turkey is also really good! This is my go to sandwich stop from now on.

Stop your whining. This place makes a very good burger. It’s small inside, but oh well. I plan to keep going back. I love that they serve tots rather than fries. The onion rings are awesome. The sauces that come with their sides are the cherry on top of their good food. This is the type of small town restaurant I love to support and pass on the good word when people ask for a good place to eat.

If you want a great burger and sandwhiches this is the place to go. I had a pastrami sandwhich which was just the right amount of meat, pickles and mustard on buttery sourdough and lightly toasted and my son had a double cheese burger which he said was delicious, juicey and perfectly charbroiled. The young man behind the counter was very pleasant and polite like the last person mentioned.

This is primarily a burger joint, but they also have breakfast and some great sandwiches. I ordered a Black Friday sandwich for both my mom and my brother — he liked the sweet potato fries that came on the sandwich, she didn’t. I went with the veggie sandwich on toasted prairie bread and enjoyed it very much. Very fresh ingredients. The young man at the counter was very pleasant and polite, and our to go order was obviously cooked to order so it took a little bit, but not too long(10 – 12 minutes for 4 sandwiches and two sides). No lemon available for the iced tea, which was disappointing. Fried zucchini serving was on the smallish side. They are batter dipped and small slices(the size of thick French fries) and I tend to prefer more zucchini, less batter, but I must also add that they were tasty and not overly greasy. Two generous portions of ranch dressing were included. i would go here again, if I’m ever in the area looking for lunch again.

Overpriced, $ 11 for a cheeseburger combo. First time eating here today and i was not impressed. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with onion rings and a small coke. The cheeseburger was over cooked and very dry it had very thin slices of red onion and hardly any lettuce. The onion rings were just ok.

Went in with a Groupon. Very nice small spot about 1.5 miles off I-10. Well worth the small detour off the freeway. Fantastic southwest burger. I will be back.

The Black Friday sandwich is off the hook! It’s what I order every time I go. I also like the new options they have; besides fries, you can now get tatter tots, onion rings… Also offer shakes! I wish they would have kept some of the other sandwiches too, instead of switching to mostly burgers. Continued customer, love supporting local small businesses. Try it, you’ll be happy you did!
