Waffle House

I really liked the customer service here. The hostess was very nice and made sure we were taken care of.
We got the usually breakfast dishes with a chocolate chip pecan waffle. Best thing you can get there. Also, this is one of the only places to get your hash browns covered, chunked, peppered, and capped. They are always consistent with the quality of the food. I never had a bad experience.

Lovveeee the night staff. Always have me a sprite in a to go cup, when I walk in, and they already know what I want to eat. Been coming here for 4 years and won’t stop! Mrs. Pamela, and Lisa are my favorite waitresses. Zach was my favorite cook, but he left and got a different job.
Hash browns with cheese are my favorite, covered in ketchup!
I was usually coming in from a night of drinking with friends, they know all of us and don’t mind that we get a little loud!

This experience was awful. Totally messed up my order and gave us the smallest waffle I’ve ever seen. Were leaving food out to get cold and left people not seated. This was an awful experience

Always a pleasant experience! Coffee is always hot and fresh! Tea is always sweet!
Economical breakfast choice and late night/​early morning meal! Bacon is and sausage are both good! Waffles are too soft for my taste but my kids love them!
Grits are my favorite and I love their raisin toast with Apple butter! My hubby loves the toast sandwiches and the kids like to come too!

tl;dr: Not so sure about the service.
The food’s great, as with most other WH experiences I’ve had. My husband and I live right down the road from this location. We’ve never happened to dine in, but we have called in a to-​go order a few times. Every time we call (regardless of the time of day), the people who we speak to are obviously only halfway paying attention (they always have multiple things wrong when they read back the order) and just generally uninterested in helping you. When we go to pick the order up, it’s the same
situation.
This time, I tried to call and was put on hold twice, then asked to «call back in like 5 minutes» because they couldn’t run a credit card and be on the phone at the same time. (Wow…) Ok, I’ll be understanding. I waited a while longer than that to give them extra time. When I called back, I was put on hold again, then she just set the phone down. I waited for a good 6 – 8 minutes before hanging up. I could hear her talking in the background, so I don’t know what the deal was. When I tried calling back (multiple times) later, I kept getting a busy tone. I’m left wondering if that wasn’t done on purpose to stop me from calling, since it’s clearly such a bother to them here.

This was my first experience since we aren’t blessed with thee «Waffle House» franchise in California. But I’m a life long fan now!
Here in California we are used to the crappy service and food at Denny’s since it’s usually the only place open when you’re done playing music at 2am. Our band stopped in after our show at the Gig earlier that night since we were on tour in the south.
We had the friendliest service and most amazing food. Seriously. We hugged the entire staff as we left. It was that good and we don’t mess around with awesome service.
Not to mention the prices were ridiculously inexpensive. Bonus when you’re traveling.
