Whataburger Restaurants

Awesome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was hot and delicious. One of my favorite Whataburgers!

Driving back to Lumberton from the South end of Beaumont on I-​10, we mapped out which Whataburger would be the quickest to drive through on our way home. We chose this one on Lucas since it’s less than a quarter mile off the Lucas exit. We probably should’ve chosen another one. It took us well over 15 minutes to order and get our food, despite being the only people there– inside or out.
We tried to keep our order for 4 adults simple, just asking for meals by their combo number, but even that was too perplexing for the employee taking our order.
Our food was fine, but I wasn’t down with them charging a full .75 for an extra tablespoon of white gravy. For this being the only time I’d gotten to eat Whataburger in a year’s time, given that I’ve moved to the East Coast, this was a major let down.

WORST WHATABURGER EVER.
My friend was visiting her true Texas home from her adopted Yankee home, and all the poor girl wanted was a Whataburger patty melt and some fries with gravy. We eventually got it, but it did NOT come with the usual serving of southern hospitality.
We waited for 15 minutes in the drive-​thru and there wasn’t even a line.
We had to repeat our order about 3 times and we weren’t even doing special requests like «hold this» or «add that.»
