Let me start off by saying the folks at this store near Aloha were very helpful and courteous. If you plan on buying a mattress however, bring your hazmat suit. The display mattresses were beyond filthy. There is no way I would ever lay down on that muck. Sorry guys!

So there staff is not friendly also not helpful there manager is not liked by the employees the employee’s tell the customers about how it sucks to work there and how there manager is a horrible person to work for. Quite frankly I see that in him due to his lack of care for customer safety and lack of customer service he is unable to provide it is really sad because if they would put the effort into training there staff it could change the store to a much more likeable establishment. Fire this guy get some who cares also bathroom looks like the store dirty

I rate this store based on how often it makes me go all the way the freak out that long ass road. I do find times that I think«I bet Big Lots might have a good price on that», but just as often I can’t bring myself to justify the drive. If it’s a non food item — aka holiday crap, gardening stuff, weird cheap art to screw down to walls of your anonymous by the week hotel room — all are semi legit reasons to go here. IF it’s not raining and I am bored and I have an extra hour to blow and I really need some solar light up garden gnomes and I am driving down the dang road right in front of it, you might find me there. When I do manage to go, I find that they have CHEAPPRICESONSNACKS. All kinds of jam and canned stuff, cookies and junk food galore — once in a while they have weird tea or organic dried goods. I really do hate driving out that way, yet once in a blue freaking moon I actually visit this place, I’m going with a solid 2.

Why do I come here as often as I do? Because it is cheap and when I need something in a pinch like a last minute gift or tissue, I stop here. It’s walking distance from my house. If I were to move away, would I still frequent this store? Probably not. The prices are great and sometimes you can find something great for the house here. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes they have it, sometimes they don’t. In general, I try not to buy food products here or if you do, check the expiration date. I do buy a lot of scented candles from here. Good scents and cheaper than your usual store. My biggest grievance about this establishment are the sales associates. There is no help around when you need help and when you actually have an interaction with one of them, it’s subpar at best. There is one cashier who is pleasant every time I have gone through her line and I like her. The others… not so much. They barely crack a smile and don’t even bother with a greeting. Customer service, folks, look into it and improve it. I do have to say though, they are a LOT better than they used to be when I first ventured inside. MUCH better.

Staff is not helpful and kind of rude. I have been in here three times in the last 6 months, and won’t be shopping here again unless I have to.

I decided to stop into this store to check it out. I found that if you look not everything in here is made on the cheap. Just have to look though. The lanes are narrow so good luck getting past someone if they are already in the isle. It seemed as though they had to have either been really REALLY busy or no one had bothered to clean the store and or restock in quite a while. I did find a few things that are worth it for me to have wandered in and like I said earlier… not everything in the store is made so cheap like… just beware … if you are not careful you could walk out with a cart full of junk lol.

Went there today to find an automatic food and/or water feeder for my kitties. Ended up with 2 water feeders at 5.00 each. Also ended up with a cart full of other stuff as I found some great bargains. If you have kids this is the place to go! They carry lots of name brand toiletries, food items, toys, kitchen items, and home décor stuff. Most of their furniture is way overpriced for the quality but I don’t shop there for high end stuff! I have 2 gripes about this place: 1. The aisles are super narrow and it’s difficult to get around the store with a cart when they’re busy. 2. They do not take manufacturer coupons. Other than those few beefs, I find it a great place to go if you’re on a tight budget.

what was once an old 1970s marina style safeway store became Big Lots back in 2003. a decent store with cheep name brand merchandise sold at the fraction of the other«big box» retailers The store underwent a department shuffle so a lot of things have been moved around, but for the better. Store seems more brighter then before. The only major gripe are the sales associates. Not very friendly if you ask me
