Binyon’s

Located in the Washington Square Mall, this glasses store was everything I wanted it to be. I am not a mall person, but the directions on their website directed me to their store with minimal mall contact. Once inside a sales associate asked me what I was looking for and I told her that I wanted cheap frames. She pointed me in the general direction and let me peruse the selection at my own pace. One check in to see if I needed any guidance, which I politely declined, which is perfect customer service in my book. I found a cheap enough pair after about 10 minutes of searching, however having the prices printed on a side tag made scanning glasses based on price a little difficult. I sat down with the sales associate and we went over the price (they had some half off sale, which greatly reduced the price… I am pretty sure this is not an ongoing policy). It took about an hour for the glasses to be made during which I watched a blu-​ray movie at the Sony store.
The main reason I went to Binyon’s was for price, but normally I am not a supporter of chain stores, but all the local owned glasses places in Portland were way out of my price range.
