Heard about this place by word of mouth. One has to look to find This swanky hideout behind The Mexican food shadow of Si(Shitty) Seniors! But once found, if your a simple happy person that enjoys some people watch’n, okay Chinese chow and lets not forget about the pool table, covered large patio, poker machines and fast friendly service then one should stop to enjoy the STIFF drinks, good prices and quant surroundings. All in all a noteworthy stop!

GREAT covered patio space! Quite a few little bistro tables for one-on-one conversation & drinks, with a flat screen outside, too! Coin-Op Pool Table adds to the fun; it’s like hanging out at your friend’s awesome basement. We tried a couple of appetizers one late night, and unfortunately weren’t impressed. The well drinks & pitchers are cheap & good; this is a great place to end up if you’re bored on a weeknight.

The sad demise of my favorite Chinese Restaurant ever. They used to be a large restaurant packed daily with hungry diners, then they split the building up and leased over half to a Mexican Restaurant and they became a very small bar. It is gross now, smokers and poker machines. You can order to go from the bar but somehow it is just not the same. They had the best Kung Pao Chicken I have ever eaten and their Pot Stickers are handmade daily. Their Hot and Sour Soup was excellent. I have gotten the food«To Go» several times but it does not taste the same. I used to work across the street and a group of us ate here at least once a week.

I loved this place when it was a huge restaurant. The food was always good and quick. Now, interestingly it has changed into a bar with some table and some video poker. That notwithstanding, it is still a very good place for dinner. My bf sometimes has business in town and rather than driving back he stays at the Embassy Suites which is nearby. He asked me where a good place nearby would be and I immediately thought of this old favorite. I love the string beans and the egg flower soup. Also, the mooshu pork is very delicious. There is usually more than enough and you end up with a to go box to take home.

Here’s the story behind this restaurant– The whole building used to be the restaurant and they downsized to a bar and video poker place, while keeping their popular menu items available for take-out and the folks that are there for drinks. Pros: Great take out(really fast), friendly staff and bartenders. Hot and sour soup is awesome, great kung poa chicken. Open late, so when you feel like chinese food for some odd reason at 9 at night, it’s there. Cons: It’s a bar scene, so if you’re looking for a large dinning room with table cloths then this isn’t it.

If I could give negative stars, I would. The bartender is really nice, but the food is hands down the worst chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of really bad chinese food. The lo mein smelled rotten, the sesame chicken was mushy and tasteless, and even the fortune cookies were horrible! This was even worse than the second to worst chinese food I’ve ever had, which gave me food poisoning and hours of vomiting. Absolutely disgusting doesn’t quite describe it.

I have been here once, and it wasn’t anything too special. This place isn’t that big and I think their main business focus is their bar and poker machine. A matter of fact, they have only one big room that consist of their bar, a few tables, and poker machines… and that is the whole restaurant. If you like to spend money on the poker machine and drink, then this is the place for you because the food wasn’t that great.
