SBC Recycle

Bait and switch, charged double what their website said for a mattress set. We were told that if we didn’t like it we could take them to the dump. Employee was very polite, but manager was rude when we pointed the price out on their website.

Great service and reasonable rate! All went so smoothly, I called, set up a day for them to come to pick up my old refrigerator (Energy Trust of Oregon would not take it!), paid by phone, set my old refrigerator on my porch and poof it was gone by afternoon the next day and I am so happy. I would highly recommend SBC Recycle!

Quick and painless! Called for a last-​minute pick up of a mattress, bed frame and TV. Got a next day pick up that went flawlessly. Got a confirmation call ~20 minutes out and Jake, the driver was super friendly and helpful. I’ve already recommended SBC Recycle to a couple people based on my experience.

We were moving houses and I was feeling really guilty about dumping our old mattress at some landfill and searched the webs for an alternative. These guys popped up right away under «mattress recycling» and they would also haul it away for us!
As I looked around their site I saw that they also recycled all sorts of things that I hadn’t even realized could BE recycled!
Their site has a very easy and convenient system to add items you want recycled to your list and at check out you can either opt to bring them in yourself or schedule a pick up for a small fee. It was really, really easy.
Just before the guys got to my place to pick up my mattresses and couch, I looked around and saw some other stuff I thought would be great if I could get rid of just as easily. I called up their office and asked about adding on a couple items and they had no problem doing so AND the items I wanted hauled off were actually some of the items they recycle for free!
I paid $ 80 to have a king size mattress, box springs, a reclining couch, a two-​drawer metal filing cabinet and a broken window a/​c unit taken off my hands. absolutely the easiest thing I did for my whole move.
the guys that came to pick everything up were very nice and friendly, as was the person I talked with on the phone.

We hired SBC to haul away our old mattress after buying a new one online. They were prompt, friendly, and the website and online pay was easy to navigate.

I have used SBC Recycle twice in the past year. The first time the compressor in my chest freezer broke. I purchased a used upright freezer from SBC. The delivered the upright and removed the chest freezer on the morning that I contacted them. I was very satisfied with services. This time my dryer started acting up, it probably needs a need belt, and then the washer broke. I looked at getting the pair fixed, but then thought it would not be a whole more expensive to purchase a new set. I contacted SBC about recycling the washer and dryer. Jake showed up with the truck the day after I contacted SBC. He called fifteen minutes before arriving and up the pair in about ten minutes. Jake was friendly, competent, timely, and efficient. For a $ 20 pickup fee it is a steal if you want to recycle old appliances. I would recommend these guys anytime.

I love how easy it is to schedule, pay, and order services online. Despite the fact that when they are picking up your junk they dont give you a time window, if you call the morning of they will give you an estimate and call you when they are on their way. A painless futuristic experience!
