It is pretty good but I would say the cashiers could be a little nicer and more welcoming to the customers but I think their chicken noodle soup and their baguettes are amazing!

Wasted my time driving 30 minutes to come pick up unwanted bread. Called twice to confirm that the bread would be ours. Came in and another customer had picked up the bread. We were supposed to get the bread and confirmed not once but twice. Bread is handed out by signups and not first come first serve. Would’ve been nice to have gotten a call to say that someone else had signed up for bread for the night. The cashier on duty knew that we called twice and didn’t think it was necessary to tell the other customer of your rules for picking up bread or could’ve given us a call to tell us the situation? Wouldn’t have wasted 1 hour driving to a poorly run Panera Bread.

Unfortunately I have stood in line here on three separate occasions only to give up on ever getting to place my order. Each time, I was not greeted nor was my presence acknowledged. People in front of me in line gave up and walked out so I decided to do the same. Guess I will not bother coming back. By the way, I am a regular customer at Panera Bread on William Cannon in Austin and love to eat there a lot. I gave that Panera five stars.

Came in around 2:45. Super quiet, so very relaxing for me. Hannah was my cashier and she was super sweet. Helped me redeem my free birthday pastry, even though my card was being slightly difficult. She wished me happy birthday and I was on my way to enjoy my meal in the peace and quiet of a booth around the corner. Thanks for the happy birthday wish Hannah :)

It’s not a bad place to eat for a chain restaurant. I usually get the pick 2 deal and it’s salad and sandwich. But usually have to wait a few minutes to order. Free wifi if that’s a key point for some.

I really like the chicken salad sandwhich at panera bread. But for the price, I’d rather be at Jason’s Deli. Too bad that’s not an option in beecave or lakeway.

I just can’t do Panera anymore. It used to be one of my favorite chain sandwich shops, but it seems like their changes over the past year or so are completely ruining the restaurant. Between ordering, pickup, getting drinks, the process is almost completely incoherent at this point. Employees are always nice and professional, I actually feel sorry for someone who has to try and deal with such absurd changes. This restaurant chain has clearly become only about the bottom line. They haven’t even gotten to the 100% DIY ordering that I recently read they are transitioning to in the news, that’s a trainwreck waiting to happen. Something as simple as ordering an espresso has become tedious. Why would the person taking my order have to leave the counter and make it instead of a dedicated barista? No buzzers anymore for to go orders. Nobody asked for my name so I guess they’re just going off the name on the credit card? Standing in a 3ft hallway with 8 other people also assuming someone is going to call their name. As far as food goes, some of it is still fairly good. The eggs on the breakfast sandwiches are hardly edible. Soup has a lot of salt. Fresh breads are great. The seasonal flatbread sandwich things were surprisingly really good, southwest one especially. Most of the sandwiches and salads are very good. The pasta experiment is a joke, soggy, salty, and otherwise flavorless noodles of despair. But, the deliberate transition into another soulless commercialized chain, is their undoing. Everything that originally made me want to go to panera is being deliberately tossed out in what I can only assume is some experiment to see how much profit they can create while removing as much character from the restaurant as possible. They’re basically trying to create a life size vending machine which is why I’ll eat somewhere else.

Just went here for a quick bite and the service was awful. The people working are walking around dumbfounded like they are high or zombies. They screwed up the order 3 times, and then when we inquired about the«free treat for incorrect orders» that is CLEARLY stated on the receipt, the server/associate said smugly«really?.. That’s very bold of you…» If I heard that as his manager, that would be a FIRE on the spot. For being in such a nice area, they should focus more on hiring professional or at least decent employees. By the way, your tight pants panty line is showing sir… You need to go up a size in your work khakis.

Sad to say, but one of my favorite morning meet-up coffee or internet workplaces is no longer making the grade. The service at the register is just too poor. Maybe they are making a killing on pick-up business and just can’t divert focus to customers in the store. Maybe that is why it tends to be empty in the mornings while other new area shops are moving folks through.

I’m a fan of this particular chain of restaurants, however I always find myself disappointed by the hygiene of the spoons. I once took my spoon and went to the silverware organiser to find a clean spoon and I was SHOCKED to find that most of the spoons are actually worst than mine, some have food stuck to it which was gross. One of the employees offered me a clean spoon and then he said that they have hard water, so I showed him the spoon that had food stuck to it and he was like ‘yea you are right,’ so he took all the spoons out of my hand and said will wash them. One star is missing because of the spoons part but four stars for their outstanding customer service and the flavour of the food they offer.

I like the food here, just wish they would read the menu order when it comes through. The 2nd time I’ve had cheese on my salad when I asked for none, with my cheese allergy I need to be very careful. Hate throwing away food when i’m back at the office.

Every time I eat at Panera I am pleasantly surprised! The pick 2 always hits the spot! I love their Tomato soup and Salad! I always leave satisfied!

Decided to return for breakfast this morning after eating here on Saturday morning. Both experiences affirmed my belief that my money is best spent elsewhere. It took 20 minutes for me to receive my strawberry yogurt parfait this morning. I approached the counter at 10 minutes and was told it would be delivered to the table. At fifteen minutes, I still had no parfait and I watched as an employee cleared my order, marking it as delivered from their order screen. Irritated, I approached the counter again, this time to wait for the parfait which was pulled out of a refrigerator pre-made. As I sat down ready to eat, I realized that there were no strawberries in my strawberry parfait. This time I talked to a manager who apologized, but then took another 5 minutes to bring me my strawberries. I will definitely not be returning.

I think Panera is slipping. Sent my fontega chicken and French onion soup back because it was cold. Both were returned and only the sandwich was warm. Soup should be hot not luke warm. Yuck… Probably won’t be coming back to this location for a while.

I just ordered chicken pasta and a Caesar salad and with the first bite I thought«is this chicken even cooked?» It was seemly pink and with the second bite I found a long black hair in it! I was grossed out but respectfully brought it back to the front where I showed the manger. She acted as though it was my fault that the hair was there — she asked me what I wanted her to do about it? I replied — that I just wanted to let her know and that I didn’t want a replacement dish bc I was kind of grossed out. She then got rude with me and gave me a credit for the same dish next time– wtf? I won’t revisit :(salad was soggy and had no flavor — should’ve spent 12 $ elsewhere. I work in a restaurant and these things happen but not one of my mangers would’ve handle this situation in this manner!

Nice and clean location, but the customer service leaves a little to be desired. The guy at the counter who took our order was very cold and robotic and didn’t even offer is the receipt(we had to grab it ourselves off the printer) and it is a good thing we did since when our order came out we were missing the full bowl of Autumn Squash Soup. And while I can appreciate that when we told the guy at the pick up counter we were missing part of our order he asked to see our receipt, usually if a customer tells you they are missing part of their order, it isn’t them trying to pull a fast one and cheat Panera out of a bowl of $ 4 soup… just a note for future customer service reference. Needless to say, it was lucky we grabbed it the receipt, otherwise we would have been out money and soup. The only other thing of note is the poorly placed changing table in the women’s restroom. When it is pulled out the person in the first stall is held hostage as you cannot get out w/o the door hitting the table. So unless you are the size of a sheet of cardstock, you will have to awkwardly wait, like I did, for the close of baby business.

I come to this location on a regular basis and don’t really have any complaints. But today, when I came in, a lady was sweeping all the dust off the ceiling. She was behind the counter when I came in and I noticed there was a loaf of bread right behind here as she’s sweeping all the dust down. But then she moved to where all the customers sit(right next to me :/). Dust was floating everywhere. Needless to say I lost my appetite. Things like this need to be done after hours when food isn’t sitting out and people aren’t trying to eat.

Panera Bread at Galleria Austin Texas: ordered a childs turkey sandwich for my child and a tuna salad — for 4 bucks for the child sandwich it came on plain wht bread 1 slice processed turkey and american cheese — no dressing — not even lettuce … it looked worse than a gas station sandwich for 2x the price. Tuna salad for 6 was an ice cream scoop of tuna in a bowl … no lettuce — tomato — cucumber … nothing!!! Apple super bruised and tiny. This panera bread needs a chef Ramsey makeover. Tons of dirty tables to top it offf and the cooks were all teens. We will never go back.

What’s good? I had the roasted turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich. It was tasty. Their soups are usually pretty good too. I also dig the Acai tea. What’s not good? The best help $ 8 an hour can purchase, exemplified by the cashier who literally threw a pen in my general direction after handing me the receipt. Would it have been that hard to hold it for another second before I could take it from her hand? This location is quickly becoming run down and losing any appeal it might have originally had when it didn’t feel like a downtown Burger King. Someone needs to buy this place some cleaning materials. There was a girl wandering around with a rag, but it’s questionable how much cleaning was being done since the tables were all pretty gross and the floor was looking equally rough. It wasn’t that busy of a night that keeping up would be too difficult. Also, the employees were freely admitting«we’re pretty much running out of everything.» How’s that supposed to make me feel about eating your food? I’m concerned for the Hill Country Galleria’s reputation as many of the shops in the area are either trying to go upscale, or are struggling to hang on and can’t care to try harder to keep an upscale-ish appearance. Panera is an example of a location on the downhill slide.

I did not have the experience of rude service or dirty tables when I visited Panera a couple of weeks ago. The service was in fact friendly and the tables and restrooms were clean. I had the Thai Chopped Chicken Salad. The salad itself was pretty good and the baguette it came with was delicious. I had been to Panera only once before for a bagel(well they aren’t «real» bagels, more like big circles of bread, but still delicious!). The array of pastries looked tempting but I held off :) I would be back to try something else on the menu and snorkel some pastries if I’m feeling extra glutenous that day.
