I love Fuji! It’s the only place I would go to get steak hibachi with fried rice and Every time when I go there I always get the house salad too! So many places are trying to make that kinda salad but no one can beat their sauce yet!!!

This was the first restaurant I visited when I moved to Maryland. We ordered the real crab roll sushi and it changed my life. This was a great way to be introduced to Maryland crab! Everything here is delicious. Nothing tastes fishy. The ambiance is relaxing and the sushi chefs are pleasant. They have some creative rolls and other classics. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options that aren’t boring.

Every time I’ve gone here the service has been great! The servers are very friendly and the food comes out fast. You really can’t go wrong with any of the specialty rolls. Last time I had the Black Dragon Roll, and it was great. I’ve had their shrimp tempura which was also good. Best sushi place in Harford County by far.

This was my first time at Fuji Sushi and the service was excellent. The fish was fresh and it was flavorful, prices were reasonable for sushi and the portion sizes were normal. Overall I would recommend this place to others and would definitely come back.

Always have fun when I take my wife with me. We always get served fast and with good food. Good place to go for a quick bite. They also do carry out. They have a good selection on the menu and it’s priced fairly.

Just left here and I must say I was very impressed. It was our first visit. Service and food was absolutely wonderful. Our server was very helpful and super nice. I wish I knew his name so I could properly thank him. My husband and I ordered sushi which was amazing and our son ordered chicken fried rice which was equally as yummy. They also at the end of your meal bring you a hot towelette and an orange. Super cool! We will definitely be back!

Tasty sushi spot for the area. For those reviewers who said the sushi quality is the same quality as the sushi in Japan, after living there for a decade I would disagree. Nothing in this area comes close. $ 9.95 — BBQ Grilled Squid(June 2015 Monthly Special) Very good! Complements sushi. $ 6.00 — Blue Fin Tuna Sashimi. Sashimi is cut very thin, 3 pieces. Next time I would get it as sushi. $ 6.00 — Salmon roll, added mango and tempura crunch. Excellent. Definitely a good sushi restaurant for the area, a little pricey, but all sushi is.

I stopped in for lunch while in Bel Air on business. I frequently am let down by sushi restaurants… This place was a breath of fresh air. The service was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the chicken teriyaki lunch box. A ton of food for a great price. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

I’ve been here for takeout once and dined in once since moving to the area and it’s definitely some of the better sushi I’ve had. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the presentation is usually very eye-catching. It is slightly more expensive than other places I’ve been to in different areas, but it’s not outrageous. Plus, you’re eating sushi. If you want cheap, there’s a BK across the street. It looks small from the outside and if you don’t know where it is I’m sure it would be hard to find(I only knew where it was because I had to sit at the light right outside of it quite a few times). Once you’re inside there’s a decent amount of space, and the atmosphere isn’t too bad either. Definitely a place I wouldn’t mind in the regular rotation. And if you don’t stuff yourself with the meal, I recommend the fried ice cream. But it’s pretty big, so you may want to share.

I had an appointment in Bel Air with my tax accountant, and for some odd reason after it was over, I was craving sushi. So out came Google and after asking it for«Sushi in Bel Air, Maryland», up popped Fuji Sushi in the Festival at Bel Air. Perfect timing, because I was just passing by there. It’s a rather hard place to find. I drove around the shopping center for about 5 minutes and finally had to call. It’s tucked away in a corner behind the grocery store, across the street from a Verizon retailer. It was a Friday night and the place was packed with an impressive line waiting to get in. It’s a nice looking room, with rich woods and a granite bar. It’s a bit upscale in appearance, but still very much casual dining. I almost went elsewhere, but I had to use the bathroom so I went in. I decided I’d make a to go order, but after I placed my order, a few spots at the bar opened up, so I decided to eat there. I wanted sushi, but also General Tso Chicken, which the girl politely informed me that they didn’t have. I’ve never been to an Asian place that didn’t have it, but anyway she recommended Fuji Chicken, which was similar, so I got that and enjoyed it very much. My only complaints about it were that the breading on the chicken fell off the strips of meat as it sat in the sauce, turning into a pasta-like consistency that wasn’t bad, but not good either. It was still tasty. Also, I ordered it hot, and it had no perceptible heat at all, disappointing. The dish was just chicken and sauce, with some scarce and very small broccoli florets. They need to upsize the broccoli in this dish. The dinner came with Miso soup and a salad. The Miso soup was good, but I’d like the chunks of tofu to be larger. There was just nothing there but broth and what appeared to be spinach. Again, it was good, just had not much in the way of substance. The salad that came with it was good, and had what appeared to be a peanut-ginger dressing. It was refreshing, if not a bit too wet and messy. Dressing dripped off my fork and onto the bar with every bite. I also ordered California roll, and it was fine. It tasted fresh and they do a great presentation with their dishes. Everyone was super polite and friendly and very attentive. I loved that, it shows that they enjoy being there, unlike my recent experience at Red Parrot Asian Bistro on Charles Street in Baltimore– see my review. I might add that it’s a bit on the pricy side i think for what you get. My Fuji Chicken and 2 orders of California roll came to just under $ 28.00. Also, I was a bit put off by the fact that when I asked for extra rice to go with my carry out leftovers, they charged me $ 1.89! That’s a lot for a scoop of white rice, especially when most people give it away. That’s just bad business, and cost them a star in the rating. So I give Fuji Sushi a 3 out of 5 stars. Not bad, but leaves room to improve. Oh one other thing– In my review of the Red Parrot Asian Bistro I made a comment that it seems like every Asian restaurant and carry out has a commercial soda cooler standing in the dining room blasting its cold fluorescent light out into the room and all over the diners, no matter how nice of a place it is. Fuji was no exception. This is really freaking me out. WHYDOTHEYALLHAVETHIS??? And more importantly WHYDOTHEYTHINKIT’S OKTODOTHIS???

My husband and I love Fuji Sushi! The sushi is super fresh and tasty! I also love their garden salad with its delicious ginger dressing and the clear soup. The service there is quick and everyone from the cashiers to the waitresses to the sushi chefs were really friendly!

One of my favorite sushi places in a 50 mile radius. Love the spicy seafood salad! My wife loves the BelAir roll, and the Ocean roll has two of my favorite fishes in it, salmon and tuna. You can’t beat the prices either. Fuji is my go to in Bel Air!

Enjoy this place a lot! We frequent it when in the Bel Air area. Love the spicy seafood salad!!! I also like to patronize owner operated restaurants, vs the big franchise guys! These guys care and you can tell! They lost a star because we felt rushed at the end of the night when they were sweeping up under our feet as it was approaching closing time. We had just spent $ 100 on dinner for 2, so it felt a bit rude to rush us along.

My sons and I love Fuji Sushi! It’s pricey but oh so Delish. The servers know me already and notice if one of the boys isn’t with me and will inquire. Nice caring touch. :) it’s close to home, with food service and great food.

One of my favorite things to do every few weeks is come to Fuji, book in hand, to enjoy a couple of rolls and a glass of wine at the bar. Excellent: The staff. Always friendly, just the right level of attentiveness. The special rolls. The dynamite and lobster rolls are delicious. The Crab Rangoon. I’ve been a connoisseur of these things since adolescence and theirs are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Mediocre: The basic handrolls I’ve experienced. The Philly roll is heavy on the cream cheese and weak on the salmon, while the tuna in the spicy tuna is not as fresh as I’ve had before. Good sushi, great staff. Great place to wind down after work if you live in Harford County.

If I were writing a review limited to Bel Air sushi locations ONLY i would give this a better rating(maybe 3 stars), but honestly… i am not a huge fan for mainly 1 reason… the fish. I’m not saying that I would never go again, because it is so close to my place, I probably would go back again, but seriously… if you are looking for good sushi, go to a different town to get it. this is only good based on what else is available in Bel Air. Fish — I love sushi and this place had fish that was limp and grainy and not the slight firmness that most fresh fish has… it was a little tiny bit old or just of lower quality The rolls, while imaginative, aren’t always the best flavor combinations Other dishes: Pad Thai the noodles were a mass that were all stuck together with a sauce that had too much fish sauce in it(and i love fish sauce) (i know, it’s not a Japanese dish per se, but it shouldnt be on the menu if they arent good at making it) Salmon Teriyaki — i found large pin bones in my fish after nearly choking on them… and the suace was wayyy over salted Udon Yaki — the sauce was too sweet maybe i am just harder on Asian restaurants(sushi and Korean specifically) but i think this is an ok place to go if you are in town and don’t want to drive anywhere further than Bel Air… Good enough to get by for a quick local sushi run.
