I have been going her for 8+ years. Both the Salon side and the Spa side are amazing. They do such a great job and offer a variety of products.

I got my hair done for my wedding last July. Nikki was my stylist because they recommended her. Because the trial style did not hold, I had her do something different for my wedding. She scheduled a client before and after me, so I felt that she rushed doing my hair. I was extremely unhappy with the final look, so my makeup artist actually had to ask Nikki to fix my hair. She said, «what is wrong with it» and seemed agitated. This was my wedding day! The style didnt even hold through the reception. I was so disappointed by this experience and do not recommend this salon for wedding updos.

Would rate this salon a 0 at this time Nicky, a hair«manager», actually yelled at me. Raised her voice and spoke over me throughout our entire phone conversation. Extremely rude and disrespectful. I left this salon with uneven Orange clumps of streaks in bleached blonde looking hair. I went in with blonde hair with lo lights and hi lights. Angel did my hair. Took 4 ½ hours and I had to blow dry my own hair. Second time in a row this has happened with her. Has occurred previously. She screws up the color then lamely attempts to fix it. Charges $ 165+ tip. Once I sat for an hour with my hair in foil after the processing time ended because she was eating lunch! I have been a long time client. Probably over 8 years. Not always happy with service or hair but never complained before. This time, I want my money, $ 180, back. They are refusing. I would never have them attempt for a second time to fix the mess Angel made of my hair. Owner works there but could not care enough to handle her disrespectful employees nor does she care enough to concern herself with her employees incompetence or a customer’s upsettedness at having her hair look like a clown. I have no choice but to file complaints with the Attorney Generals’s office, the BBB, and file a lawsuit. And use social media to post the pics of my hair. The simple, proper remedy is to return my money in full so that I can have my hair fixed. Rude, overpriced, incompetent employees.

I made an appointment for my elderly mother with Casey @ 3pm on March 29th. We arrived at the salon 15 minutes early, I told the desk reception we were there for an appointment with Casey, no one offered us a beverage or apparently notfied Casey her 3 pm client had arrived. At 3:15 my mother apprached the receptionist and asked how much longer it would, another stylist asked Casey and she indicated not much longer as she was blow drying her earlier client. At no time did either the receptionist or Casey approach either of us with a greeting or sorry for the delay. At 3:25 we left the salon, at that time the recptionist apologized for the wait… we never saw the imfamous Casey. Needless to say my mother will not be back. Too many other salons that provide excellent service for their clients.

This salon is BUSY! I love walking in and browsing their product lines, they always have the most up to date stuff! Have only been to the salon portion but the spa services look awesome– workers all seem happy and have good client relationships

I’ve gotten my haircut at jordan Thomas twice and absolutely loved the results. The salon seems to be very well run. I have curly hair so I’m very particular about how my hair is cut. Colleen, who is devacurl certified, did a great job cutting my hair. She cut my hair dry initially. After washing and drying, she made her final touches on the cut. It was exactly what I wanted. I also found their prices extremely reasonable given the amount of time the cut took.

I’ve been going to this salon for 4 haircuts so far and am very pleased. Marni is my stylist and she is excellent. The atmosphere is very nice – feels like a high-end salon and spa in the city. The Bel Air location is great. Looking forward to trying out more services at Jordan Thomas. Glad I finally gave them a try!

I’ve been going here for years now. I absolutely LOVE it. My stylist and my esthetician are both amazing and very talented. My stylist is known as the«color queen of Bel Air». I always love my hair when I’m finished. I trust her so much that I give her carte blanche as soon as I sit in the chair. I always get compliments on my hair from friends, family and even strangers. Unfortunately, she is moving a good distance away so I will be trying other stylists to find the perfect one for me. I am sure I will find one I love, but not as much as my current stylist.(Since she is leaving the salon, I didn’t mention her name.) I get facials with Alina about every 4 – 6 weeks. My skin always feels great and looks amazing after a facial. Alina is very friendly and professional. I always feel relaxed and refreshed after a facial. She gives you a mini-massage(AMAZING) as part of the facial(massaging neck, shoulders, arms and hands). I usually make my appointments online. They have a loyalty program where you get points for certain things, such as booking online and spending over a certain amount. The front desk staff is excellent, as well. They are very helpful if I decide to book my appointment while in the salon. I highly recommend Jordan Thomas and plan to continue going there for a long time.

I’ve been coming here for awhile. I’m only 100% satisfied when I get services from the staff that I’ve been going to for awhile. Although I don’t know why you would choose service from anyone below a master level, JT now offers a choice of stylist levels. Once I made an appointment for a mani/pedi from someone who wasn’t at the master level, and she told me that she was told not to cut the skin on my cuticles and that she could basically only change my polish. Due to an awkward scheduling difference(that even required me to get waxed in the middle of a haircut I’d booked over a week in advane), I had to switch my normal eyebrow wax lady. The new master stylist dropped wax on my cheeks and eyelashes. She lied and said that she didn’t get it on my eyelashes, but if that wasn’t wax that I pulled off my eyelashes, then I don’t want to imagine what it was(since I was previously only wearing black mascara). Sometimes they offer monthly specials. One was if you book a facial this month, you will receive a Bioelements sample package. Ha! The facial was good(as expected for the $ 100 price) but no one volunteered to give me the samples and they said they were out when I asked. This was into the second week of the four week promotion. Yesterday,(5÷23÷2013) I called about their buy one get one 50% off laser hair removal package. The receptionist couldn’t give me a price over the phone without consultation, said the consultation person was only there once a week, but she was there that day and I could see her in an hour. Ok, I canceled all of my plans, fought the traffic and checked in 5 min early. Fifteen minutes later, I was told to fill out paperwork. Twenty five minutes after my appointment start time, I was seen and discovered that there was poor communication between the consultation person and the receptionist as no one told me to keep my paperwork. In the back room, before she saw the hair I wanted removed, I was quoted a price over $ 2,000 — which was their special price. I was so upset that I had to drive and wait much longer than expected to learn a price that I should have been able to find out over the phone. That experience was inexcusable unprofessional and should have not happened. Their website recommends that you switch stylists to find new looks for yourself, but I will advise you against that. You really need to know the stylists, in more detail than their website offers. Sure, there is a section that highlights employees, but it doesn’t name all of the employees nor does it specify what they specialize in, or if they are able to cut all hair types. Also, the salon is always clean and they seem to have the appropriate equipment on hand. The front desk is usually well staffed, so you don’t have to wait too long when they’re busy. The front desk is rarely able to answer any detailed questions, but they seem willing to ask find out who can answer your question — if you come in to ask. Perhaps I’m still bitter about the one time that I had to return to JT for a corrective cut because the original stylist wasn’t able to cut a straight line that day, but I only let Alex J cut my hair now. Before Alex cuts my hair, she’s sure to ask how much time I have to style it, what I want it to look like, and has stayed after her shift to ensure that I know how to maintain the style outside of the salon. A final complaint that I have about this salon is their product line. I take issue with their favorite brand. Loreal uses ingredients that have been tested on animals.(Redken is also Loreal) Bare Escentials has harmful ingredients in their products that can irritate skin such as Bizmuth oxychloride, mica, titanium dioxide, and boron nitride. A short list of companies that still test on animals can be found here, but several websites have compiled lists: However, Moroccan Oil and Bioelements are the best brands that are sold at JT and I encourage you to try them out if you haven’t already. I wish that when JT relocated, that they would have remodeled their product line to become a salon where customers could feel beautiful and know that their beauty was not derived from animal cruelty and harmful chemical products. The fault of this can also be shifted to salons/consumers who knowingly or not participate in supporting brands that torture animals«because you’re worth it». Overall, I will continue to return as long as my favorite stylists continue to work there, and sometimes I feel froggy and take a chance on a new stylist. As much as this salon tries to be high fashion with fewer attitudes, they still need to be more, so you should be more careful when selecting your stylist/products.

I’ve been going here for a long time. I am a big fan of Lindsey, who cuts my hair. It’s a family business, «Jordan Thomas» being the son in the family, I think. They have reasonable prices and knowledgeable stylists. I think they offer a range of services, but I just get my hair cut and I am always very pleased.
