Food has always been good but my only complaint is I would always get a Coke Zero slush because why not? Coke Zero has no sugar in it so I figured why not, well I found out after a few times of getting one that the finished product has sugar in it! Just beware when you order a slush like that and expect no sugar… it does…

The service here was pretty good but the dessert I ordered was not what it should’ve been. A «waffleberry brownie» blast looked, on the picture menu, like it would have strawberries, brownie, and waffle pieces mixed into vanilla ice cream. What I got was strawberries in vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips and waffle pieces sprinkled on top. I was disappointed but we were already on the road so I couldn’t take it back. Everything else we had here was fine.

Always friendly, courteous, and accurate besides what else can you ask for when they have unlimited drinks selections and happy hour deals!

My order has often been incorrect. The service has always been outstanding. This location has managed to hire some of the friendliest young people in the area. They answer dietary questions. They’re friendly & up beat. They’re apologetic when orders are incorrect… even when the mistake has been my own. Yesterday they had 50 ct corn dogs. I bought 2 and they were a flash back to my childhood. I always order an iced tea with lemon & they always have lemon, unlike some other fast food places close by. I gave 3 stars because they usually don’t put napkins in the bag. If you’re in the mood for unhealthy, fun food & drinks, stop by sonic. They have the best drinks around.

Speakers are loud as shit. All the kids look too young to really know what rollerskates are so it’s amusing watching them deliver. Service is somewhat slow… But it’s sonic.

I have been to this Sonic on a number of different occasions and always enjoyed their food. I am a fan of Sonic in general, and this one is no exception. The service is prompt and efficient, and the servers seem nice. However, I was acquainted with an employee of this particular Sonic and heard some horror stories about kitchen cleanliness and food preparation. Ignorance is said to be bliss, and this is the case for this Sonic. I have enjoyed the food thus far, but I’m always a little afraid of ordering because of what I’ve heard.

Went here last night and food was cold and old. Cheese was literally crumbled and dried on hamburger and onion rings looked like they had been refried from earlier… I think my cheeseburger was cooked earlier and they just recycled it and it was icy cold … Will make every attempt not to return

I finally made it to happy hour! Sonic has half price drinks and slushes from 2 – 4 pm. I am a HUGE fan of lemon berry slushes and was so happy to get a large slush for $ 1.17. The drive-in line is a bit awkward in this location and service was slow in the line. I’d definitely recommend pulling up to a spot.

Dined on 12÷2÷12 My wife and I are both fans of Sonic, of course for different reasons. I love the fact that I can get a quick yummy hotdog fixed the way I love them and for the main reason: They have the BEST Tatter Tots… YUMMERS!!! We order a medium Tatter Tots with chili, cheese, and onions… OMG to die for!!! Plus I love the Chili Cheese Frito Dogs… OMG so damn good and so not good for you, but who cares… LOL!!! Every now and then you need to live life and enjoy pure comfort foods!!!

This review applies to this location specifically. I was surprised that my favorite fast food chain disappointed me for the first time in 11 years. I would not recommend this location to anyone for food(even my shake wasn’t made to typical Sonic standard), definitely if it is the first time, just say no. Sonic is known for fresh made to order food and drinks. This location will never get my business again, which sucks since it is near where I live. My fries tasted microwaved and were warm, NOTHOT and my burger was tepid. I was so disappointed and disgusted I had to write this review. The only things that were good were the side order of onion rings and the shake. I would come if I wanted a good shake quickly, but get food from elsewhere. I will stick with the Essex location.

Food is not impressive, but the experience is good, the half priced shakes after 8 are nice, and the servers are pleasant.

Let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love Sonic food. I’ve mainly had it from Oklahoma(home of Sonic) and it’s fantastic. Unfortunately, this Sonic in Bel Air totally drops the ball. I’ve ordered here about 5 times and there’s always been a problem of some sort. Either they left out an item I ordered, forgot to bring out an item I ordered, or missing ingredients from an item. I forgave them for the first couple months since they’re all new employees and Sonic is new in the area in general, but it’s already been many months in and they should know what they’re doing by now. They also don’t hire enough employees to handle the number of people that visit because the wait time is pretty long and the employees complain that they’re backed up. You would think that the manager would hire more people for a store that gets a lot of business so that the customers actually come back. Management better get their act together if they want repeat customers. I’ll come back in time but I won’t go out of my way to return by myself.

It was late at night and Sonic seemed like an interesting place to check out. Food was GROSS!!! Chicken strips must have been cooked a couple times before we arrived because they were hard as a rock and dry. Chicken strips should be tender and juicy on the inside. Chili on the tater tots did not taste good at all. I am not a huge fast food eater but I have definitely experienced much better than this at a Wendy’s or McDonald’s. I should have complained and asked for our money back but I was unsure about Sonic’s customer service. Food needs to be improved A LOT!!! In the future, Sonic should think about cooking some fresh food and not serving stale pieces of chicken. I probably won’t go back or recommend this to anyone else.

I’m just not impressed with the service. A group of four of us visited and ordered four milkshakes. They arrived promptly, but the server had not a clue as to the flavor in each cup and told us to give them a try and figure it out. Since two of the people in the car were not related to me, we played milkshake russian roulette and randomly picked a shake from the carrier. This made it very easy for me to decide to never return. I gave them two stars because I actually liked the shake I received, but it was not the one I ordered. Good job Sonic on ruining a sure thing!

I’ve been wanting to go to Sonic for a while, I’ve seen the commercials and with no sonic within a 30 minute radius it never happened. There was a sonic back home in CA for a while, but before I wanted to go it closed down and turned into a check cashing place. Hopefully the future of this place is much better and with what I saw on my first visit, it probably will be around for a while. Why is that? The newly opened Sonic Drive In is Harford’s county new shiny toy. Since there isn’t too many things to do in the area, openings such as Wegman’s and Sonic are typically chaotic(something new to try). I’ve experience such craziness at Wegman’s opening(cops directing traffic, no parking, tons of traffic), I decided to come to Sonic at least two weeks after its opening. Even so, it is still chaotic. The lot is quite small for the amount of business that they have been getting, though only time will tell if this will keep up. Once you enter Sonic you are directed into a line which will split between drive in, eat in car, and eat on terrace. Because of this it is much easier to enter in though the Walgreen’s parking lot since you have to go though it anyways to get in line. They should really have signs dictating this, but instead they have teenagers waving their arms trying to get your attention. We opted for drive in and after a 20 minute wait in the first line we drove to the drive in line. The drive in is quite slow for fast food. I’m used to in n out back home where they have a much longer line and can get through it extremely quick, though I do know that their menu is less extensive. After getting food(bacon cheese burger, chili fries(where I learned that the chili is all meat) and a limeade, we went home to eat. Fries were okay, burger was pretty bland, limeade was great. Like my husband told me before we went, only the drinks were really good.
