They have the best fries and onion rings I’ve ever tasted — when they are fresh. Try them during the busy times, like while a football game is playing or at the beginning of lunch. If they’ve been sitting a while, they are not so great. Also, we had the lobster roll, which was yummy both times we were there. Their beer selection is also good. If I ever get back to Maine, I’ll go again!

Nothing memorable here, but not unpleasant either. Burgers and beer. It was a nice day so all the doors were open. We would have eaten inside but too many flies so we went to the breeze on the front deck. Only four tables with umbrellas so we baked in a hot sun, moving when some patrons left their shaded table. It was a Sunday lunch and we thought they were understaffed as service was slow. Burgers were cooked well, however.

Wish I had looked on Unilocal for reviews because this place HORRIBLE, horrible service, horrible food, and over-priced; overall, a very unpleasant experience. I even asked to talk to the manager about the horrible experience, and he was also quite horrible. Did I mention HORRIBLE?

Place needs work. Chowder was barely warm and eight bucks. Gum under the table and lots of flies. Place needs some work.

This place was awful, not even a good view. It didn’t take too long for the waiter to come over but when he did he was not attentive. He explained that the beer truck hadn’t come yet and that they were out of a lot of beers. He wrote down all the orders. It took about 25 minutes to get the appetizer which ended up coming out only a few minutes before the meal. He forgot one order entirely and the food was overcooked. They did however compensate us by comping the appetizer. It was more of a waste of time and money then anything else.

After a trip to a Belfast event we passed the Harborwalk(adjoiningFront Street Pub). There were a few picnic tables open and a waitress said to seat ourselves. We waited 10 min before a waitress came to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. She never even offered us menus. She said they had draught beers and we ordered 2. After another 15 minutes 2 waitresses came over and said the draughts were only available in the Pub. So it took another 10 min to get our drinks. There were 5 waitresses working the floor but we had no idea who our waitress was and none of them would ever make Eye contact with us to see if all was OK. It took 15 minutes more before we actually ordered our meal. I felt like we had an «invisible» sign on us. I am a patient person but when a family of 4 was served a panini that I had ordered within 20 min of being seated, I was irked. I really felt like I was invisible. A number of people sat, ate, and left before we even had our food. The pulled pork and veggie panni’s were just average. We arrived at 12:45 and left at 2:35. Almost 2hrs for a drink and a sandwich. I was not impressed and will never eat there again.

Food was pretty good. I had the lobster roll. Just wish it was a little bigger with more lobster when your spending 17 $ for it

I’ve eaten here 10 times in the last two months looking for reasons to have lunch there. The new chef is a talented young woman from Phillie’s CIA with fresh takes on pub grub using fresh local ingredients. Monday’s and Wednesday’s are free pool, there’s a Touchtunes, and international crew from yachts in for repairs and renovations add to the ambience.

This place was probably one if the worst places I have ever eaten. It’s very deceiving because it’s right on the water so you would think the clams would be heaping off your plate nope the exact opposite. Avoid this place at all costs their location is the ONLY thing they have going for them. Pizza was over powered with cheese and grease, French dip sand which was pathetic, i don’t understand how you could serve it and feel okay about it. I’ve eaten at many places and I’m usually optimistic but trust me not 1 thing we ordered came out edible.

Stumbled in after a long day on the road and intended to just use the facilities and then search for a local place for dinner. However, the place was friendly and the waitress engaging, so we decided to take a gamble. Apparently there was a pool tournament starting in back and the place was getting busy. As a result, the service was a bit slow, but that gave us a chance to decompress and enjoy a locally brewed beer — great selection by the way. Started by sharing a cup of crab and fiddlehead chowder which was the highlight of the meal. Very good. The wife finished a shrimp and lobster pizza which she enjoyed(and kindly shared), and I had the lobster roll and fries. The serving of lobster on the roll was generous, fresh and delicious. We will definitely return.

I love this place. The food is standard pub, but well made and tasty. There is a great choice of beers on tap including many craft beers. They make a great margarita too. We visit Belfast often and always find ourselves back here. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. They let us sit out on the deck with our dogs. It is definitely a great, friendly spot.

I think they were having a bad day. The woman who seated us said that the kitchen was backed up and she was right – it was slow, even though they had few customers. The pizza was burned but the crabmeat sandwich was good. Apparently most of the staff skipped work because of the Celtic Festival. But the 2 that showed up for work we’re so very nice!

It was okay but nothing special. I had the lobster roll which was just so so and a beer.

Good pub grub. I had the Haddock and french fries. The fish was lightly battered and not soggy/over fried. Both the fish and potatoes were Maine(eg. local) products. They also had several other local menu items. The pizzas looked decent, too. The outdoor seating was great for us to enjoy the harbor just around the corner of the building and sit with our dogs while we ate. Lots of local beers on tap, which is a plus. The bartender said they’d have beers from the brewery next door in the next week, too. I’d definitely come back.

What a little gem we stumbled upon at the Front St. Pub! The weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit outside and enjoy it with some great beer, food, and service. This place offers 17 beers on tap, approximately 14 of which are Maine brews! They also happened to be offering unlimited homemade chips with horseradish sauce for a couple of dollars, which were yummy! The food. I have never been in a pub with so many vegetarian options! The tofu sandwich was so so good and the cole slaw was the best I’ve ever had, and I really like cole slaw! My sister is vegan and they were very accommodating in taking the cheese/any dairy out of her sandwich. Again, everyone was very happy with what they ordered judging by the lapse in conversation while we were eating! I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat!
